Legends Golf & Country Club

The cycle of this course is very well known by golfers in the area. It used to be great, then, like many other courses it struggled. Somehow in between, it had appeared that The Legends had lost its way, as it continued to struggle, while some others made a comeback.

After not playing here for several months, I played today, with 2 really nice guys. They thought the course wasn't as good as it could be, but I was very happy with most of the course from 1-18. And we enjoyed it!

Today was very pleasant. The course was green, the greens were quick, even midday. the Fairways can still improve, but it's playing and starting to look much as it did in its heyday.

We can be pretty critical in central Florida as there are many courses to choose from and often I think we can get to "if it's broke, it won't be fixed." In my opinion, that is no longer the case at the The Legends.

The prices are among the best in the area, for a solid layout and now a course which will make you feel as if you are at a pretty special place and because of that, it's worth a play. Please don't get me wrong, there are areas which still need some work. but if you haven't played in the past few months, I believe you will very pleasantly surprised.

I haven't recommended The Legends for quite some time, but feel great about recommending it after today's round.

Haven't played this course since before the summer. Course is in great shape. Even the rough, which in the past was awful, was very playable. Greens rolled very fast. Overall a great experience. Now they need to get the restaurant open and a beverage cart out on the course again

Way too long to play 18 holes. 4:50 is too long. 10:30 on a Tuesday morning, it’s crazy.

We were sent out as a two ball as other two no showed. we were stuck behind two 4 some's pushed the button in cart to seek assistance after 4 holes but no one came! 2.5 hours to do front nine.. went into pro shop ta ask why no one came as we wanted to see if any space in front to skip a hole . the pro said plenty of space in front so skipped the two 4 some's and played back 8 holes in 1 hour 10 mins as no one in front of us

Everything was ok except for the carts being calibrated in such a way that they would either slow down or stop when you were in a so called restricted place, that’s why I can’t recommend this course, spent a lot of time backing up for practically no reason. NOT FUN!!🤬

The layout of this course is fantastic. Not many places in central Florida with elevation changes. I know they were closed for a few years and have been working on bringing it back. There are definitely still plenty of spots that still need some love but overall I thought it was very good job. Back nine especially. All of the greens are in pretty good shape. Very fast. Tee boxes were good. For the price, it’s definitely worth playing

Played on Sunday AM first group out. Just over 3 hours was fantastic. Greens were quick and in great shape. Course was wet but not bad...carts in the rough only.

First time on this course. Beautiful but the layout was awful and extremely confusing. They went you to ‘stay on the cart path’. Funny when there is no path and there’s hills, dips, and sides your cart can rollover into. The grill was closed due to management but the staff did an excellent job of trying to making it better with water and chips available.

You have a great course- when you check in they dont even ahve a fridge with cold drinks or any food of any kind and tell you to go back onto 27 and go to publixs supermarket and come back - they spedn milliosnon the coruse and cant even afford a drinks fridge and basic nibbles

Amazing layout and you can tell they're spending money to bring all the potential out of this beautiful property. The staff are some of the friendliest people you will meet and made me feel welcomed at first sight. The pro shop has a great selection of apparel and equipment that is very reasonably priced. They even had a clearance rack with some very nice high quality shirts. I purchased a polo shirt with "Legends"

embroidered logo that I will wear with pride at other course in the area. Nothing but good things to say about Legends Golf and Country Club. Keep up with the renovation and attention to detail to bring this beautiful property to it's proper glory! If they continue on that path we will definitely be back!

Legends is always good. Greens a bit slow, but fairways and tees in good condition.

Course was in solid condition. Greens rolled out nicely. Worth the 60 dollar fee. Had an enjoyable round, will return at this price!

Very nice course and reasonably priced through Golf Now

We golf-holiday at Highlands Reserve this time every year, but, despite that, Legends is our firm favourite. The greens are great and run true; fairways are good. Bunkers are well kept and the staff are very helpful. The green fees are set fair (unlike where we stay) and readily available.

The only issue they currently have is lack of off course dining/bar through no fault of their own.
