Legends Golf & Country Club

This was our first time playing Legends since it reopened last year but we had played numerous times before the closing. It was one of our favorites and still is. Course was in really good shape all around. Greens were quick but rolled true. Fairways in good shape. Traps were manicured and there are a lot of them. Five sets of tees for all levels of play. The only downside was we were the first group out that followed a tournament so on some holes there was a backup but it was a beautiful day and a good time was had by all.

In the middle of a huge retirement community. 18 holes are surrounded by houses on both sides for the most part. Matted down Bermuda everywhere which is typical this time of year but still in good shape. For a 45 dollar hot rate it’s perfect. I would not pay anymore though.

Great course. Very user-friendly - wide fairways, hardly any water hazards. Fast greens. Even though I'm a horrible golfer, it was a great day to be on the course. I recommend the course.

Good course. Nice touch that cart included free bottled water in ice cooler. Played in under four hours and the greens were fast and true.

Beautiful, fast greens but not much else to offer. Horrible rough play and lots of hills and valleys. Unattractive drainage ditches which I assume are needed. Over priced for golf experience.

The greens were fast and hard to read. They were true though.

They need to work on their pace of play. Played half dozen times or so, and every time was slow pace.

Live in Lake Mary, so this course is about an hour for me but I will be back. Played on a cold Christmas Eve and we were the only group out until we joined a single on 15 got around in about 3 hours. Greens roll true and fairly quick. The elevation changes and unique layout make this a can’t miss. Not a 5 star, but more than 4 all things considered

This was my first time playing this beautiful course and it will not be my last. Greens run true, tee boxes were well manicured and fairways were immaculate. Only negative was there was no cart girl or on-course snacks and drinks available. They need to do better in that area.

We had a great round at Legends on a cold morning during the holiday season

Staff is the friendliest around and the course conditions were excellent despite the recent cold weather. The greens were receptive and FAST especially downhillers above the hole. Some of the best greens in the entire Orlando area. Burger and a beer after the round was great as well.

Can’t wait to get back!

This is a great course west of Orlando in Clermont. The greens and fairways were in good shape although the fairways were a tad wet due to all of the rain lately.

Always fun and enjoyable to play.

Management and staff where great, course in gratitude shape

Took my son out for his first 18 on a full length course. Conditions were good and the greens are in great shape rolled true and fast but please folks FIX YOUR PITCH MARKS!! Good to see guys out working on bunkers etc… will play again !

It is not in perfect or excellent shape, but in good condition. For the value this time of year, the price was to value of the course. Would recommend and play again.

Note: this course was in terrible condition and closed a few years ago. The HOA has taken over management of the course and reopened it with the help of external course maintenance team. Since then, this course has seen huge improvement and continues to improve.

Making Legends a regular stop when I'm in Florida. Great layout with hills which is unique down here.
