Legends Golf & Country Club

Courses around Orlando are getting to expensive to play for us Canadians especially with Credit card companies charging us 1.46 on the US dollar. I love Golfing here in Ontario Canada as I played 85 rounds last year. Our prices are the same as the US, but than add the 1.46 exchange and Golf cost soar over $100.00 Canadian. Now they are even more as it is peak season from Jan.-Apr. I wouldn't be playing anytime soon in Florida at these prices.

Must admit we were not sure about returning to Legends. We used to enjoy playing it years ago, but it did start to go downhill somewhat, though we were very sad to see it lying abandoned our last visit to Florida just before Covid. Also some reviews seemed a bit mixed.

Well can not fault anything. The welcome by the cart staff, pro shop, starter and ranger were all friendly and professional. Practice facility was fab with the best value practice balls we’ve come across. Pace of play was fine - very good to start though we had to wait on just a handful of shots as a society shotgun had apparently created a bit of a backlog. But the ranger was on hand to move things along and had also driven by with updates.

The course was in spectacular condition - by far the best conditions we could ever recall playing on there and exceeding all the other Orlando courses we have played so far. Greens were in perfect shape and fast - quite tricky but true. No complaints. Fairways were in good shape as well as the tee boxes.

Legends is a real fun course to play. Different holes with elevation changes but only one blind shot (on the 14th if I recall correctly) and great views. Although it is on a development, the houses in the main are far off the fairways so you don’t feel penned in, and there is still a lot of wild areas which you don’t get on a lot of the more heavily built-on courses.

We have limited days left in the area, but we will be back. And so happy that such a great course seems to be in good hands once again. Well done!

The course has fun design and elevation changes. Some holes give you opportunities to be aggressive without completely penalizing you if not executed correctly. Greens are quick but nothing makes putting a nightmare.

The course is in good shape overall, greens are good, fairways are wet and short grass, some areas bare, Pace was good, windy day made for some challenges, fun to play. Lots of elevation changes, unusual for Florida but welcomed. I would play again.

Great course with a phenomenal layout. Greens are fast and can trick the eye quite a bit, so be careful. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous from the time you pull up until the time you depart. Hands down, one of Central Florida's best place to tee it up.

The course was just OK. I did really like the change in terrain, there are lots of hills here. Surprising for someone that hasn't played a ton of golf in the area. The conditions were not good. Easily the worst conditions I played in 5 rounds in the area. It's fun for a round, but I likely won't come back.

After driving by for weeks I finally got to play Legends! It didn’t disappoint. Very well cared for. Greens ran true and the holes were interesting and challenging. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the course however I was sent out as a single! Would’ve been much more enjoyable playing with someone else!

A bar, a cart girl, coolers on carts and 1 bathroom facility on a course surrounded by homes. Makes for an awkward situation.

I’ve played this course many times and I think this is the best I’ve seen the greens and fairways! I really enjoyed it! I haven’t played it a lot because of the price, but it appears they’ve lowered it to make it more affordable!
