Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club - South Course

I’ve played this South Course several times now, and honestly I’m not sure why I don’t play it more often. With the few areas of Florida that have rolling hills this corse has views that will amaze you. Tee to green it’s beautiful. . Land your drive in the fairway and you’ll be sitting on carpet, perfect for your approach to the multi tiered greens which you’ll want to know where to Put your ball, otherwise making a 2 putt will be a challenge.

Though this course on the map looks a ways out of town, it’s very quick and easy to get to. Arrive early for 2 reasons, it may take a couple of minutes to get through the guarded entrance, and you’ll want to warm up at their elevated driving range. It’ll make you fell good about how well you’re hitting the ball. .I’ll be back for sure! See ya out there!

Lovely course which was in good condition. Greens rolled really good and very true. Only down side was that some bunkers were compact and needed more sand. Other than that we had a very enjoyable day

I played the South course-18 and also the front 9 of the North course. Both in excellent condition! South course is the best course I’ve ever played. Challenging, but with the conditions being so pristine, I played some really good golf. The elevations are incredible. Both South and North are awesome! I’ll be back!

actually played the original (south) course the first year it opened - 20 years ago, and just returned for the first time since. lots more houses, and a mature course has aged beautifully! elevation changes rarely seen anywhere else in FL. this is a PGA caliber track (Tom Petrovic won here in 2005). conditions are perfect - very large greens mean 3 putts will be the norm if you don't find the right spot to land your approach shots.

can't say enough about the quality of the shotmaking required and the rewards given when you strike it pure. worth the drive for a full say on both courses (north course reviewed separately)

Nasty first hole. Driving range was closed. Ouch. And no ball washers. Most par 3s pretty long. Fast greens. I'll be back.

A true jewel in state of Florida. All around everything on and off course perfect.

This course has a lot of sand bunkers but the sand is not in great shape

I love both Jovita courses. Played the South and it was in nice shape. Only complaint would be the bunkers need more sand. There’s a pretty thin covering and then it’s hard pack.

Well conditioned course with ver undulating fast greens will give any golfer a great challenge..

After playing Lake Jovita North Course & totally enjoying it, we went back today and played the South Course. We liked the South Course even better than the North! It's in EXCELLENT condition throughout. The layout is interesting, challenging, and fun. Practice facilities are conveniently located. Staff couldn't be more friendly. Can't say enough positive about the Lake Jovita South Course. Although it's an hour's drive from our winter home, it's well worth the drive. I highly encourage giving either the North or South Course a try.

Great conditions with a fabulous layout makes this course a hidden gem..

My wife and I had the pleasure of playing the North course today. We were scheduled to play the south course, but needed to move up our tee time to accommodate a change in flights. The staff (especially Anthony!) were most helpful! We enjoyed the course Very much and will return!

Excellent conditions with great fairways and greens. Kudos to the greens keepers. Value was very good compared to many courses in the area with pooor turf and comparable pricing.

Course was in great shape. Played here for the 1rst time. Was enjoyable to play(even though cart path only because of rain). Some tricky landing areas and tee shots, so you should pay attention when hitting your shots. Will try and come back to play the north course. Would highly recommend to come and play here.

The Course offers something for every level of Player - I at 64 years played the White Tee

There are dog leg both left and Right force carries off 3 tees many sand traps will be in the way

LOL - they are clean and fair if you find 1,2,or 3

Challenging, well manicured and beautiful course in wonderful condition. Always a pleasure to play here. Only downside is a very slow pace of play for a weekday.

Beautiful, very challenging and well maintained course. Although the weather conditions were not the greatest (cold and windy), our first experience at this golf course was well worthed. A small disappointment, there were no "wash balls" on the course.

Great overseed job, fairways are beautiful. Beware the downhill putt. Awful first hole. Too tough for a hole #1.
