St. Johns Golf & Country Club

We wish we discovered this course weeks ago. So far it is the most enjoyable round we played over the last five weeks. It is very well maintained, there is more growing grass on this course than most others we have played. The facilities and staff are exceptional. The pace of play was about 4 1/2 hours which is OK but we like to play in four hours or less. We will return several times before returning North.

Nice track. Cart pass only day, added a few strokes. Staff was great, will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condition of the course, greens and the overall layout.

Great course, staff & restaurant.

I was visiting from out of area, and others had recommended this course as one to try. As a single , I was paired with 3 members. I enjoyed my round. Good layout though several holes looked similar. Some doglegs, but mostly the course is presented fairly. Plenty of water, but fairways are fairly generous.Greens were in reasonably good condition for a public course. Pace of play was excellent. Our foursome played in 3:45 . I will give this course another try.

The course is in great shape, especially the greens. You can tell the staff and grounds crew take pride in working there. The course was fun and challenging, our group only got held up once all day. For the price compared to some other courses in the area (I’m looking at you Royal St Augustine) this place is a must play.

I liked the course overall as to design and condition in comparison to the cost of play. The only thing that stands out very brightly is the speed of the greens. Their condition was good and they looked very healthy but they were the slowest greens I have ever putted on. The foursome I played with never did get the speed figured out. They needed to be mowed and rolled. Otherwise I enjoyed the round.
