About
Carved from a forest of pines and winding through wetlands and lagoons, St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a scenic 18-hole round located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The course features tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens. There is also the occasional two-tiered green to look out for. Water hazards come into play throughout and there are several well-placed bunkers. Depending on how the wind is blowing, the course can range from being gentle to very demanding. Six sets of tees make the course accessible to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, St. Johns Golf & Country Club also offers extensive practice facilities including a 10,000 sq. foot putting green, chipping green, and a double-sided driving range.

Great value-decent course
From a tourist’s standpoint, I enjoyed the course. Not terribly difficult, nice layout, great price.
Excellent layout excellent shape
One of the best courses in Jax. Very slow play due to tournament from the morning so didn’t quite get 18 in.
An absolute bear from the tips in terms of length. Definite must play.
5 hour round on a Thursday afternoon???
course was excellent- greens typically fast but sweet..But I can't play a 5 hour round on a Thursday afternoon ..waiting on every single shot.. not a ranger in sight
Player friendly
Very golfer friendly. Wide fairways on 90 %of the holes.
Fast greens, easy to control putting. Big greens, easy to hit.
Great track but crazy fast greens ( too fast).
I'm a pretty good stick, but the greens at this course are way too fast for everyone I played with both times. You cannot even putt the ball online all day for fear of the speed. Ridiculous. I don't know who they think they are trying to impress. The course layout is great, but will probably not play it again unless it was really cheap and I felt like getting aggravation on every green. I can putt pretty well usually but by the end of the round, after hitting every fairway three putted so many greens was happy the round was over. I would like to see a pro not three putt on those greens at least five times a round. BOGUS.

Course in very good condition. I play a lot of courses in North East Fla area. Would rate St Johns as one of best values in area.

Got to watch a symetra tour pro play with us on a nice course. I had fun and birdied the last hole!
Great 1st experience at St. John's Golf & Country Club. Absolutely will be back!
I liked everything about the course for an early spring round. Play was a little to slow for my liking but the course was awesome! Can't wait to play it in the summer when it's in full bloom!
Winter Golf
For winter golf the course was in decent shape. Not much grass on fairways as expected due to being dormant but the greens were good.
Pace of play was terrible and a ranger would be a great help.
