Traps and greens in need of renovation that is due to begin 2024. Looking forward to it.

First time. Fairly new to the game and as a woman always feel a little out of place but this was definitely my best experience thus far! Staff was so nice and informative made me feel really comfortable and welcome. Course is exciting! I really enjoyed it, even in the rain!! 😃

I love the course

and the ranger kept

telling us to move forward,

we were not holding up play too badly,

and allowed multiple players to play through

us esp on the front 9 holes.

a recommendation would be allow us two to go to the back 9 holes. where there were

very few players, and we could have gone back to the holes we missed,

The course layout is challenging for a good golfer. It has several holes with wide creek beds splitting fairways so that a slight drift of a shot results in a penalty area outcome. Sometimes the extent of that cannot be seen prior to your shot. There is one par 4, # 8, that could realistically be a par 5 due to most golfers being forced to layup short of a creek bed on their second shot as the carry to the green could be 190 - 200 yards even after a good drive across a lake.

Greens were very fuzzy and slow, but were not too difficult. Bunkers were very good.

Course was in good shape. Weather was almost perfect. Only real knock against the course was a rip in the corner of the seat in the golf cart.

The course was in the best shape it’s been in for the last 2 to 3 years. Play with light when we teed off at 10 in the morning so no one pushing us and no one in front of us. The value is great compared to most course of these days on a deal of the day

For a public course, it is definitely one of the best maintained courses in the area. Challenging holes and very well taken care of. Kudos to the ground crew.
