Course was in excellent condition, first time playing course and would play again, layout was very nice.

It’s getting to the point where there is way to many on the course. You book t times to play with your family and the put you with random people every time . There is ridiculous wait times in the middle of the week and your literally 4- deep behind in front it’s horrible.

Getting paired with people who been playing for years when your just starting makes it stressful and frustrating. For both parties involved.

Decided to go a day early to a wedding and play some golf. Wife booked Chastatee. What a surprise. Great staff and the starter was very nice as well.

Course is in good shape and tee boxes were good. If I had to say one detraction, some greens showed signs of some possible winter kill on edges of greens. I never had an issue with it.

As an 8 handicap, I found it challenging and interesting from the standpoint of the rolling terrain.

Usually playing courses by the ocean or Florida the terrain was very entertaining.

I would certainly drive back to play again. A very nice surprise with nice people.

The greens are soft and very receptive and putts roll a little slower than you might be used to seeing. The bunkers are a bit inconsistent, but you don't have to hit balls into them. lol. The course is not super long, but you can still hit driver on lots of holes and try to get a wedge in your hands. Not very many flat holes on this course. Fun layout that can be challenging but scoreable if you hit FWs and Greens.

Course is always one of the most enjoyable in the area. Only criticism, same as often referenced, is need for more sand in the green side bunkers and more consistency amongst the bunkers. Outside of that, course conditions and staff are excellent.

Everything about the course was great! Zero complaints!

As the review title states. We were CPO for the first nine. We walked ank climbed a lot but the course is worth it!
