South Course at Rock Springs Ridge Golf Club

Love weeds? Then you will love this course. Weeds are all over the tees, fairways, rough and greens. Some fairways and most of the rough is a carpet of flowering purple weeds. They are not really suitable for hitting off of as they are fluffy. Each 12 inch weed has one single root right square in the middle of the weed. There is little grass to be seen on this course. And not one single ball washer on the course. Management is immune to criticism at this course. Amazing.

I LIKE THE CHANGES IN ELEVATION ON SEVERAL HOLES WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR MOST CENTRAL FLORIDA COURSES. EACH HOLE REQUIRES A LITTLE CREATIVE THINKING WHICH IS FUN - NOT A STRAIGHT BACK AND FORTH FLAT COURSE TYPICAL OF MANY IN FLORIDA. WE ALWAYS HAVE FUN ON "RSR" AND AN OCCASIONAL LUCKY BREAK CAN PAY NICE DIVIDENDS.

Course is in terrible shape ,it's only to practice on and not to have a good game. This will be the next Golf course to close in Orlando area

Took a chance on this one with a Hot Deal. Maybe I shouldn't complain considering how cheap it was, but it's just a shame that this course hasn't been maintained. The fairways and tees are chewed up, and there are several different strains of grass/weeds growing in the greens. This would be a beautiful course if it were properly maintained -- the layout and natural terrain make it enjoyable, but the conditions are deplorable.

I like the layout at RSR, challenging but not overkill. Course is one of my favorites although it always needs work.

Nice course to play, diverse hole design. Unfortunately, course maintenance is lacking ... fairways are extremely thin and weedy, greens appear to always fight crab-grass infiltration.

I've played here several times over the last few years and the course was never in great condition but it had been playable. Now it is awful. Every part of the course is full of weeds and even the fairways are not cut. Hard to even find grass between the weeds on the tees and the greens are full of crab grass. I can not think of one good thing to say about the course condition. I payed almost nothing and it was still not worth it. I almost left after seeing the first hole. I decided to play it out to see if it got better. It did not. Do not wast your time playing here.
