$20 Well spent
Bunker all recently raked, fairways recently cut, Bermuda coming up in the fairways and the greens were pretty good. Still not Augusta
Greens
The 12th green is awful large dead spots, wire grass mixed in wire grass heavily mixed in with regular grass used fife surface, several other greens in bad shape. I don’t believe they have a greenskeeper.
Not the best conditions
Fairways more like cow pasture, lots of weeds, bare spots, sparse grass. Greens only fair. But for the price, playable.
Reserve thus time but got rained out no refund'
I reserved a teatime today, July 17 Thursday at 4:03 PM but there was a very bad thunderstorm and I did not get my money back and I request a refund
Rough conditions
The staff is always very friendly here but the course is in very poor condition. Some of the greens are literally unplayable. Course layout is great if they could get the grass manicured properly.
Greens were actually good !!!
Greens continue to get better. Bermuda in the fairway is filling in, still too many weeds
Nice course for the price!
This is a nice course. The greens are still a little rough but the course overall, is much better than it was a year ago.
Summer golf
Anyone playing a public golf course in Florida during the summer has to accept that the course is not going to be the pristine courses you see on TV. Spruce Creek is in very good shape for a moderately priced round in July in Fl. Yes, a few greens had bare spots and the fairways were hard and a little weedy in places but that did not diminish the round. Had a great time. Excellent course for under $35.00. My only criticism is that the sand traps need to be tilled, they are too hard so it’s hard to get under the ball. If you’re not a scratch golfer you should give Spruce Creek a shot.
Course is adequate for the money
I was able to grab an $18 rate so headed on over. The course is in rough shape in some areas. Plan on winter rules all over. I felt it was good enough for what I paid. Friendly staff and nice bar. I’ll go back for that price.
