Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Rude, unfriendly pro shop staff who was not welcoming when we arrived 20 minutes early for our tee time but told us to hurry to catch another twosome who would be told to wait for us to meet them on hole #2. Then the ranger waved us off when we were only approaching the first green so we didn’t keep the twosome we were told to join waiting. We didn’t even get to finish hole # 1. The course conditions were mediocre at best with slow greens. We will not play this course again.

Great Layout. Course has improved 80 percent since a couple of years ago.

Apparently brought back from the brink, a really good layout with many tests of golf skills. Fun and very worthwhile playing.

As I paid I was offered the chance to buy range balls which I decided to do. After paying I asked where the range was and was told that it was across the street, I asked for my cart and was told he couldn’t give it to me until I was ready for hole 1 which was right behind the clubhouse (trailer) that we were in. When I asked why I couldn’t get the cart I was told that he didn’t trust me and I could go off on hole 10 which is right next to the range. I was shocked of the potential accusation and Later had to drive my truck across the street to avoid a decent walk. Overall the course had a cool layout but the greens were in pretty rough shape. Given the cost I thought it was a fair price for the condition of the course. I will not be back to this course anytime soon.

I played this course a couple of years ago, and it is a great layout. The course has improved significantly I will be returning again soon.

The first two holes are okay then the course opens up to a great layout green are perfect, hard to read. For the price it is definitely worth the money

It was about 53 degrees out with about a 15 mile per hour wind. I must say that this is the first time I have had to wait for a boat and a water skier before I could tee off on the second hole. The course was in good shape. The greens were hard to get the speed down but we're in good shape as well. I was glad to be playing with people who have played the course before because I would have never found the 10th tee (it's across the road from the entrance to the resort). The foursome played in just under 4 hours although we could have finished sooner but we caught up to the foursome in front of us. I will be going back to play this course again... hopefully in better weather.

Spent 4 days in Orlando area and played 8 different courses. We are from Arkansas, so first exposure to Florida courses. We are also beginners. We were pleasantly surprised at the value we received for the money at Swiss. In general, the staff was beyond friendly, and in our opinion the course was in good to great condition. We were first off in the morning, so review of pace is as accurate as we can give. We never had anyone pushing us. We did note there was a huge crowd when we finished up. As far as amenities, don’t think they had “hot” food, just snacks, soda, water etc.

First time playing the course since last March '19. The course has improved 90%. There is actually nice turf in the fairways and the greens are in great shape.

This has become a go-to course for group I play with. 2 years ago it wasn't even on my radar - it was awful. They've consistently made the effort to keep conditions nice out there. Challenging layout, good conditions, friendly staff, gettable but not a cake-walk by any stretch, and they have THE MOST competitive rates. Definitely recommend this course!

Having played several times at Swiss Fairways, this time it was just as enjoyable. The greens were good (thanks to the former superintendent - Drew), fairways had lots of grass and tee boxes were good. The only problem was the pace of play, just a lot of golfers so it took about 5 hours.

Some nice change in elevation & doglegs. Layout makes the course one that you will come back to play again.

My husband and I and our two friends are all from Canada. We have played Swiss Fairways in the past and enjoyed the uniqueness of the layout. However it has been a few years and from the minute we walked into the new pro shop and were welcomed to the course by Gina an amazing staff member we knew we were in for a completely different experience. Can't say enough good about the course. Someone has put their heart and soul into all the improvements. We we also impress with how many staff were working out on the course that day. Have already called our golf friends in Canada to tell them the good news and encourage them to come and play with us when they come to Florida. Very reasonably priced as well!!. Can't wait for our next round..

haven't played it in 2 years and it has improved quite a bit.

Still has a lot of thin spots in the fairways but a good value

Course conditions were ok, greens very slow and patchy.

Grass on fairways very thin and not much grass, same for the tee boxes.

Very nice layout and fun to play and good value.

Good course for the average golfer and good value for the money. Fairways are wide open with no buildings hugging the edge of the course. Greens are spotty in some cases but still playable. I would definitely recommend this course

I would give it a try because of the interesting layout. Greens appeared to be cut and rolled as putts were really fast so stay below the hole. You would probably enjoy it best if you rolled the ball all over. I did get the negative vibe about using Golf Now. Couldn't get a cart until 15 min. before my tee time so just hung around my car.
