Heritage Harbour Golf Club

It's been a long time since I played this course. This used to be my favorite course in the Manasota area. It's a shame it took such a nose dive. The course was in Okay shape. Definitely not worth the outlandish prices they were charging during the season. Checked in and the gentlemen behind the counter was too busy playing on the computer to give me his undivided attention. Then got the stink eye when I tried to ask a question. He didn't ask if I would like range balls or anything else. So no try to uncharge. The bag staff was great and even stopped my bag in properly. The course definitely needed some loving. But was okay. Dianna was awesome and very pleasant.

In my opinion. Wait for the next rate drop. Then this course will be worth it.

Course was in reasonably good shape with the exception of 2 greens that were a mess.starter could use an attitude adjustment. All services were very good. Cheeseteak was reasonable.i think the price could be a little cheaper then $70 with green issues. So.e of cart path areas were rough

Played on Masters Sunday. Opening round for the year what a blast. Will be back.

First time playing this course and it was very enjoyable!

Booked through the GolfNow app and a complimentary draft beer was included. There were not a lot of long carries over water, which I appreciated. The course Superintendent is doing a great job!

This was my third time playing Heritage Harbor and I'd like to start out by saying that the course is in excellent condition and has a fun, challenging layout. That said, each time I've played this course the tee times were running at least 20 minutes behind and the previous two rounds took over 5 1/4 hours to play (both weekdays). My round yesterday started with tee times running 35 minutes behind. Once on the course we waited on every shot and it took 3 hours to complete 9 holes. When we arrived at the 10th hole (par 3) we found the 3 groups in front on the hole. My group decided to pack it in and the attendant in the shop was gracious enough to give us 9 hole rain checks. As a starter at a busy golf course in NJ I can't understand why the staff at Heritage Harbor can't get groups started on time and mange a reasonable pace of play.

I played this course six months ago it was not in good shape thought I would give it another try. My tee time was 11:00 am I teed off at 11:43 because according to the starter they dou le booked tee times....upon arrival when paying nothing was said that there was a line of 20 carts waiting to tee off.....after 3 hours and only 9 holes complete I walked off due to pace of play and condition of course.......NEVER AGAIN HERTIAGE HARBOR

Played both days this weekend and on both occasions it took over 6 hours to finish. Tees off before Noon on Sunday and got to the 16th hole at about 5:00. They do not space the tee times out enough. Avoid at all costs, go to River Club or Greenfield Plantation if looking for better time at similar price point.

Rough is dried out and pretty rough. Tees are in rough shape on a number of holes as well. Greens vs are in good shape however. Need to improve irrigation for rough and care paths need significant improvement in places

Fairways and greens in really good condition. a challenging course. rather big distances between the holes but with a cart no problem. beautiful surroundings. we appreciated the foc beer which we really enjoyed after a wonderful round in 90F.

Greens were in good shape: hard and fast. Excellent pace of play. Recommend this course and look forward to playing Heritage Harbour again soon.

Today was better since we saw the beverage xart twice. Many times I can go a full rounds with out anything since the course never goes by the clubhouse.
