Heritage Harbour Golf Club

I was so pleasantly surprised at how good this course was yesterday. Every single green was PERFECT< fast and true and held shots! Fairways were just fine as well as tee boxes. Folks complain about the layout which is weird and confusing but since I know it and expect it it doesn't bother me. We played in 3:30 and had a blast. definitely coming back. The staff deserves a pat on the back.

1 of the first groups out in the am so pace was excellent. Beware… lots of water! If you’re a hacker bring an extra dozen.

It’s a good, solid course. Worth the money.

But - there’s water (and sand) EVERYWHERE on these Florida courses. Takes some getting used to coming from rather ‘dry’ Midwest courses.

This course is very spread out, very tough to walk. Overall in good shape, some odd fairways, blind shots. If you have not played it it can be confusing, has been re-done for some additional development, course may have suffered. Plays long and it seemed straight into the wind for most holes (???). Greens are good rolling true. Last hole was directly into the sun, totally blinded we had no clue where the ball went. Overbooked, very slow, took over 5hrs to finish, too long for a round.

I liked the course, staff was friendly, tee times were on time and pace of pace was 4 hours and 10 minutes, which was all very positive. A couple things I didn’t like is the course layout with 6 par 3 holes as well as the flow of the course. When finishing one hole, you drove through empty fields and high wire power lines to get to the next hole, strange flow. I also needed to use the bathroom on the course but the bathroom required a code to enter which was not provided by the starter or posted in the riding cart.

Course had improved greatly in the last couple. Greens and fairways are in great shape.

This course has it all, beautiful area, clubhouse, greens, fairways, and cart girl! Staff was friendly, especially the starter. Pace was acceptable. Their greens are as good as any in the area. The fairways are a little too tight for my liking. They actually have sand in the bunkers as opposed to most area courses (I don't understand why sand is hard to come by on the coast). Tee shots are critical because a poor drive makes the second shot much more difficult than usual. I rate this track as the best I personally have visited in the Sarasota area and will play here any time I can.

l played this course and both times it was a 5 hour round. The course is in good shape and the staff is very friendly but l think the above average difficulty makes for slow play

Course layout and condition were great. Pace of play was better than expected. Greens fairways well kept and well groomed

Good shape fir winter golf. Green in excellent shape.

Staff was very friendly, clubhouse looked nice but fairway conditions were not very good. Greens are okay. Hard to rate pace of play because our group was a twosome behind a lot of foursomes.

I used to play this course a lot before the money grab and the renovations took place. It is now absolutely the worst layout I have ever seen. It has no flow. A total sellout for money. I will never be back.

I played this for the first time and won't play this course again.

The course layout was poor.

Playing the roughly 6200 yard tee boxes, there was a hole over 500 yards long, 3 over 400 yards long, a 200 yard par 3 where you had to carry the water to get on the green.

On many holes not many "safe" shot options.

Most fairways and sand traps were in poor shape, tee boxes were OK, greens were good.

New golf carts were very good.
