About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

Tees, fairways and traps all in great shape. Some greens suffering from a fungus and new sod coming. Liked many of the tweaks to holes they largely kept the same. As others have pointed out, they eliminated 2 holes for new property development and made up for it by redesigning two of the original holes into 4 holes. The two new holes on the front aren’t terrible. On the back, I think they were just very limited in what they could squeeze in, resulting in a very short par 4 and a long par 3. The bigger issue is that there are now 4 par 3s on the back…not ideal.

No bad not great round of golf
The greens still need improvement.
The round of golf went well for the price.
Recommend more “hot deals” to entice players to book tee times.

Nice course but…
Nice layout. Tee boxes and fairways well maintained but greens were very thin with many bald spots. Looked as if some sort of blight had attacked the grass. Many patches on greens as well.

Pace of play, poor condition
The greens where brutal, and the fairways where very hard and low to any grass. Took us 6 hours to play full 18 because pace of play was super slow. Rangers did nothing about it.

They are dealing with infestation issues on greens that left the greens in very poor condition. However, that probably explains the more than reasonable price.

Not great
We had hi expectations going in and it did not live up to the expectations. Slow pace of play and the greens and course were in average at best condition. Sadly the golf course was in poor condition but the food was great. Staff was very nice but I would not recommend the course. I wanted to recommend it but it just wasn't a good lay out and the greens were not in good condition. Hoping the layout changes in the future. It appears to be a great community.

fun course
Overall a fun course to play. But many of the greens are in rough shape. They claim it is due to a root fungus. The fairways are ok.

Course was in okay shape overall, but many greens were terrible. We played on a Monday, so maybe they didn’t cut them? They did post an apology for the poor shape of the greens, but it is sad that they were this bad.

Summer Golf in FL
I really enjoyed a round of golf this afternoon at HH. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great. The course is still coming together after a major reinvestment. Its a challenging course from the back tees with lots of shots maneuvering around water. I always play this course when in Bradenton. I think lots of folks were expecting perfection when the course reopened and just need to be patient or play somewhere else.

It’s bad won’t return
This course used to be one of my favorites. Not anymore. I will not return. Owners sold off 2 holes and land and crammed 16 holes into 18 hole course. Course layout is terrible! Example number 1 hole - people waiting to tee off drive head on towards the golfers teeong off on hole 1!! It’s nuts! Hole 9 doesn’t meet at clubhouse. Condition of course is terrible. Fairways are like rock and no grass in several areas. Greens are awful!! Several holes and gauges out of almost every green !! Not worth it to play here if you are a average or above level player. Not fun!! They do provide you a card for a free beverage of choice which you need aftet playing this terrible course! Do not plsy.

Pathetic excuse for a golf course.
This course is just an example of how bad it can be when a golf course owner sells off 2 holes and tries to make 18 holes out of 16. I have not played it in a few years but it used to be a nice layout. The greens are dying the routing is horrible and the general condition is dead spots, hard Pan and full of weeds. The staff was very nice as was the staff in the Clubhouse having lunch afterwards. No one should choose to play this golf course.
