About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

Good layout, interesting greens
Nice residential country club quality course - space of the tee, lots of variety of holes - elaborately contoured and good putting greens.
Pretty rough conditions
Green surfaces are about 25% usable - bare patches and sod implants on all but 1 green. 1 temp. Rerouting from original lost character of original course. Fairways bare and even washed out in spots. Morning rain slowed pace to a crawl. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really nice clubhouse/grill.

Horrible conditions
It is by far the worst conditions I’ve ever played and I’ve played hundreds of courses a couple greens are literally Unplayable Absolutely terrible

Worst course in all of Bradenton!
Haven’t played this course in a couple years and all I can say is wow was it terrible, tee boxes and fairways were horrendous and worst of all the greens weren’t even playable. Charging people $80 to play on dirt is absolutely outrageous! Course should be free or if anything should just shut down because it is that bad. 10/10 would not recommend to anyone.

Greens Issue
I've played this course several times. The only problem I have is too many of the greens are chewed up. They are working on them but it seems to be taking a long time. Other than that I love the course.

Miss the old course
This used to be a great lay out that over the years has had a lot of maintenance issues. The new owners have improved the conditions, yet some issues still remain. After the sale, the removal of the first 2 holes and redesign has left a lot of us locals baffled and nostalgic. It is still a challenging and fun course, and the staff are the still the best from bag drop to clubhouse.

A course in progress
Over the years I have played this course many times and for an average golfer like me I find it to be very challenging. I do believe that the people who run this course are doing the best they can with all the changes. Give this course six months to a year and it will return to a great course as it once was.

Don’t waste your time/money
Horrible condition, uneven lumpy patches on greens plus fairways cut so close plus bare spots everywhere! Waited on every shot the entire 18 holes……they should make this into some kind of recreation area

Greedy owner ruined the course
I started playing here a few years ago and always played 2-3 times when I come down to visit. Ever since the new owner took over the course conditions and layout are almost unplayable. The fairways and greens up in DC at the public $30 courses are in better shape than here. Also selling holes 1 and 2 and turning the par 5’s into a par 4’s and 3’s was a really greedy decision. The course used to be a 4.5 star course. Now it’s barely a 1.5 star course. It’s a real shame, I will not be playing this course any more when I come to visit.

Greens nearly non-existent
Course in very rough shape.
Fairways barren of grass, bumpy. Rough very patchy and full of weeds
Greens are unplayable.
2/3 of them have siginificant sod patches that did not take.
And when you were able to find a line to putt that was not interfered with by a sod patch, the greens were running at a 5 or 6. Seriously. Have not been cut in a while.
My frustration was that the green conditions were not posted on club website nor on the booking site.
Also rhe design is bizarre. From the tips the front nine is 600+ yards longer than the back nine.
Back nine has 3 par 3s
4 of the 5 par fives were over 200 yards, with three over 220 yards from the tips.
Lots of crowned greens
Long par fours had very small greens.
They advertised that they renovated in 2022, and I hope that is not true as this is a poor design and course in very bad shape
Would not play again.

Staff is fine. TERRIBLE COURSE. For the money they charge it is an absolute **** show. Fairways are trash and most greens are being worked on constantly. Don’t golf here. Greenfield plantation is right next door and 100% better.

Terrible shape
Played this course two years ago it was in bad shape gave it a shot again it is in worse shape. greens are horrible.

The course was fine. Glad we didn't walk. Did have issues with golf cart. Talked with a staff member.......he said cart should have been re-programed. We ended up pushing it a couple of times. No warnings before cart shut off.

Do not pay more than $35
Just played course for the second time in 6 months and the greens have still not corrected themselves. They have a temp green on one of the holes which is just unplayable. To pay $62 for a 12pm tee time is outrageous. They need to either close the course down and fix the greens completely or start charging $30 to play there. Rest of the course is in really good shape but I would rather have nice greens and dirt fairways.
