About
Heritage Harbour Golf Club (formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour) plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded wetland preserves and ponds. The golf course plays through spacious residential corridors, creating strategic risk/reward holes. At approximately 7,100 yards, multiple tees allow the golf course to be enjoyed by players of all abilities. The golfer who succeeds at challenging the hazards and angles will be rewarded with the proper angle for the next shot and an opportunity for a birdie. Designed by Arthur Hills, one of the world's top golf course designers, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is located just a half mile east of I-75 at exit 220.

Positive Experience - Will Come Back Soon
Played early afternoon weekend round as a twosome. Finished in less than four hours. Unlike other reviewers, we found the greens to be both fast and true. Granted, they are hard and thus not as receptive to long iron shots as they will be once they mature. The sand traps were in good shape and tee boxes were in better shape than expected., Our overall experience was positive and we look forward to returning soon.

We enjoyed playing HH today. The staff was very helpful and professional. The course is still growing in from the renovation, but we had a great day. Pace of play was great. Greens are really hard and fast, but just need some solid rain. I highly recommend HH for a fun and challenging round of golf. The par 3’s from the black tees are very challenging at 200 plus yards.
Greens were very hard, fairways were thin. I can’t tell where they spent all the money on repairs.

Miss the Old Design
The condition of the course was fair, but the pace of play was worse than a Professional tournament. Their new yardages after the redesign are much shorter and it should allow you to complete a round in under 4 hours every time!

Not Recommended
I’m from Ft. Lauderdale and belong to an Arthur Hills designed golf club so I thought this might be a nice course to play while I was in Sarasota for the week. What a disappointment.
I stopped in Golf Galaxy the night before and picked up a dozen balls. One of the employees I was speaking with recommended I cancel when I told him that I was playing at Heritage Harbour. He said it was in terrible condition. He was right.
I arrived at 8:30 for my 9:00am tee time. The cashier in the pro shop said, “You’re 9:15.” Not,” hey…is it ok if we move you to 9:15?” I said, “No, I booked a 9:00am tee time.” He said, “No, you’re 9:15.”
I didn’t really want to argue with the guy so I went to the chipping and putting greens. The first thing I realized is that the greens were in dire need of punching and not very true. The ball jumped around after every put.
Without writing a book I will just say this, new management is needed and a new greens keeper.

Layout was different!
Course layout was good but needs water. Greens were rock hard, but overall not bad!

Overall, was significantly better than expected. With just a decent rainy season the greens and fairways will improve and with the good layout, I expect to come back often.
