Very disappointing

Had a great experience. Great condition, pace and friendly staff. Nice clubhouse atmosphere. Not crazy about having 4 par 3’a on the second nine though the course overall is pretty challenging anyway.

Florida has been in a major drought but all in all the course is in good shape. Pace of play is great. Staff are all super friendly. Food and drinks are great. Overall a fun round of golf.

40 minutes for great course w/nice layout. Greens in good shape

Very challenging for any level of player.

This course could have benefited from a ranger. Players hitting 4/5 off the tee box and slow 4 somes resulted in a 5 hour play time for a single.

Maybe six months ago the course was in 7/10 shape. And considering its history, I had high hopes they were trending in the right direction. Nope. This time the fairways were patchy and dried out. The rough was either straight dirt or bad grass. And as a bonus the greens seemed to have been punched recently, which isn’t terrible, but for some reason the grounds crew decided not only to over sand the greens but they also left the pinched plugs all over the greens. Last visit was 7/10. This visit was a 2/10.

Course is in rough shape. Fairways are dryed out and rough is gone in most areas. To mske matters worst they had sanded the greens but provided no notification to golfers! Not a fan of courses that don’t notify players of this condition in advance of booking a tee time. We had been playing here regularly but will not return until conditions improve.

I play a lot of golf and never leave course reviews but today’s experience was exceptionally unpleasant. My friends and I are decent golfers, two of them are single digit handicappers. The staff today was on our tails about our pace of play for seemingly no reason. It started on the front when the ranger briefly drove past us asking us to close the gap with the group in front of us (who were flying). We weren’t necessarily playing fast as we play competitive rounds for money, but nor were we playing slow by any means. For instance, we’d be walking off the green as the group behind us was teeing off. A few holes later another gentleman in a cart approach our group saying he “was sent out by the clubhouse to keep an eye on us.” He stated the two holes in front of us were wide open and that if we don’t pick it up we’d have to skip a hole. He proceeded to follow us for three holes. This was completely unnecessary and out of line by the clubhouse staff as it was clear to see we were not holding anyone up behind us nor were we holding up pace of play (we never saw the group behind us). This completely killed the experience at this course and I recommend playing Greenfield down the road, you’ll have a much better experience there. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.
