Waterlefe!!!

Great course. Played the round with a couple of members so they giving me some good advice being it was my first time playing the course. Greens were great , the entire course was great. They have soda machines along with an ice and water machine in a few spots around the course. Found out during the round that the course was once a PGA qualifier. Great round of golf I will definitely be back

Nice Layout good pace of play

The course may have been renovating so the pro shop was a little garage. Food was out of a small food truck. The fairways and tees were nice no bald spots. Greens were slow, but in good condition. Carts were comfortable w GPS. Pace of play was strictly enforced and we kept moving did about a 4.5 hour round no delays.

Storm Damage

Unfortunately, some bridges and holes were damaged in the last storm. This should have been made public knowledge prior to booking the round on Golfnow. There was one temporary green, the signature par 3 was closed, and a temporary tee area was being used on another hole. The conditions of the rest of the course were fabulous. I always enjoy playing Waterleaf, I just wish there was some transparency in the condition prior to arrival.

Obviously it's the rainy season. Some of the holes were cart path only. To be expected. Difficulty level high.

Beautiful Work of Art

This course is beautiful. There were zero areas of concern. From tee boxes to fairways to greens...and even the rough and hazards (which apparently were my favorite areas)...all were exceptionally manicured. Carts were GPS-equiped with generous rough-area governors.

The pro shop and bar area were under massive renovation and expansion, so food was limited to a food truck and cart service.

As far as level of difficulty, the back 9 is unforgiving. If you hit straight (short or long) then you can really enjoy the course. If not, the cart does have Tito's among other libations.

Would love to play it again...and will.
