Waterlefe Golf & River Club is built along a particularly beautiful section of the Manatee River, complete with wide expanses of pristine marshes and pleasant coves. Don't be surprised if on the 15th tee you spot a family of manatees poking noses up for a breath of air. The golf course was designed with a great deal of time, effort and expense going toward protecting and resorting the natural environment that gives the course it unique character. The gently sloped greens with the newest Tifteagle Bermuda offer the ultimate in putting. Great Golf Course
Waterlefe is one of our favorites and a Must Play if you’re in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. The course is in good shape and the greens rolled true.
Beautiful Course
Course is in great shape. Staff were friendly. About 4 1/2 hour playing time was ok but had to play the final 2 holes in the dark.. Bugs were bad late in the day. Recommend playing the course but get and early tee time and take bug spray.
Sehr voll und langsam
Schöne Anlage aber leider sind die Startzeiten zu eng gesetzt. Wir haben für die ersten 9 drei Stunden benötigt . Wir standen an jeder Bshn.
Zum Glück war das Wetter angenehm.
Waterlefe
Friendly and Welcoming Staff got us off to a great start. Course was in great shape but very challenging. We finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes which is always good. I would play this course again without question. It was worth the 100 dollar greens fee.
Langes warten
Schoner Platz aber langes warten. Wir haben zweimal versucht zu spielen, beim ersten Mal haben wir an der 9 nach drei Stunden abgebrochen. Wir haben einen Gutschein für 9 Loch bekommen und haben es drei Tage später noch einmal versucht. Leider nicht viel besser.
Anlage sehr schön, guter Zustand und bei einem schnelleren Spiel auch sehr zu empfehlen. Der Club musste die Zeiten zwischen den flights etwas erhöhen.
Beautiful Course
This was my first time playing Waterlefe and I was thoroughly impressed with the condition and layout. I didn't have time to take advantage of the amenities, but will do so sometime in the near future. My only criticism and it was not intolerable was the pace of play. There was a slow foursome in front of our group, but it picked up somewhat on the back 9. I will definitely be back.
This is still my favorite course to play here… wish u were closer I would join… I live on Anna Maria Island… love it for once or twice a month play
