Poor planning
There was a tournament the morning I played. The course could have planned better for a more realistic estimate of when the tourney would be over, or at least far enough so that others can play. The back up was ridiculous and as a result I couldn't finish my round before it got dark. That said, the staff were incredibly polite and handled the situation as best as can be expected. Hats off to them. It is hard to deal with many inpatient and upset golfers! I will eventually come back and play a full round. Just need to check the tournament schedule first. The course itself was very fun!! In great shape too.
Not bad, not great.
A friend at work highly recommended this course. Honestly, the course is not bad and the price to play was reasonable. I wasn't so crazy about the place for the following reasons: 1) the drive for me was close to an hour each way, so going forward I'd be hard pressed to drive that distance for this course. 2) the greens were slow but in good shape. The disappointment was in the rest of the course including the fairways, largely burn't out and poor ball positions in the fairway. Now the recent cold temperatures could have certainly played a part in that, not sure. So I WOULD recommend this course to others depending on distance to course but not so much for myself.
Good greens
Typical winter conditions in fairways. Tees good. Greens great, best I've played on this winter.
Nice Course
Played by myself and felt like the course was my private course. I have played Magnolia many times and have enjoyed it every time. I look forward to my next round and I am sure it will be just as nice.
Great shape
Compared to most public courses, this one is in great condition. Tee boxes and greens are very well taken care of.
Mag on a Friday
Enjoyed the course. Greens are in excellent shape, fairways need some work. Fairways need more grass.
Pace of play was great.

BEAUTIFUL GOLF COURSE
This course is a gem of a course!!!! Tee boxes and greens were in excellent condition! Fairways need more grass to hit off of.....clubhouse was super....staff was very friendly!! Used golf now to secure out tee time.

Will keep coming back. Rates are great course plays well for me. Has some elevation on a few holes too.
