We were very pleased with this course. It is a well maintained course with a nice flow. Very nice course for the money. This might be our new favorite course.
Amazing Course - Worth My Time!
I must start by saying Citrus National has really become a favorite place to play. I am happy with all aspects of the golf experience. First, the course is in excellent shape and is getting better every day. Scott is really doing a phenomenal job with this course. Not only has he and his team transformed the course, they also have some really solid staff members. One in particular is Nick in the Pro Shop. Although somewhat younger than the average players, he is a rock star when it comes to connecting with those coming to play. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel good about playing the course. He represents Scott very well. Citrus National Team, keep up the amazing work and please feel proud about what you have done to make the course a great place to play! THANK YOU!! George
New owners haven't done a thing yet
It was worth the $20 I paid THAT day thru golf now, but not any other time. Carts are nice, grass in fairways are spotty at best, greens are ok, tee boxes are the same as every other course, the range & Chipping & putting greens are very good. It seems like every course around the Homosassa area & 10-15 miles outside that perimeter within the last year has gone to the dogs. Hernando Oaks is the best bet in my book.
Coming along
Lack of water during the summer has really hurt the fairways. The greens and bonkers are in great shape so you can roll it in the fairway and have a good round.
Getting better. All holes need to get like the 14th fairway.

Not Bad
This quality of this course has been hit or miss over the past few years (mostly miss)…i played 18 recently and was pleasantly surprised. The fairways, tee boxes and greens were in pretty decent shape. They had just over-seeded the fairways…so it was rough/cart path only. Overall, my buddy snd I had a great time playing this course.

Winter golf in Florida
You have to expect rough conditions this time of the year. I would love to play when the conditions are better. The price was great. The pace was horrible. They need to pair up foursomes, to many twosomes. Practice area was great
GREAT WEATHER AT CITRUS RIDGE
COURSE FINE, GREENS GOOD ROLL NICE,FAIRWAYS OK,GRASS COMING INTO PLAY U CAN TELL ROUGH FROM FAIRWAYS, 1 HR DRIVER FROM MY AREA,WILL GO BACK AGAIN,WIFE LOVED IT,SOME NICE LARGE HOMES BEING BUILT NEAR COURSE,ATTENTION SNOWBIRDS, NICE COUNTRY SETTING.
Course conditions continue to improve and need to continue to improve
Aeration
Aeration was going on at tee time and it was not mentioned at all so the wait time and pace of play was off
Nice track
Always enjoy this course they overseeded the fairways coming in very nice good value for the money should go play a round you’ll like it
Improved
Course is showing improvement since last fall. Fairways and greens are much better.
BAPP
After reading recent negative reviews, I found the course to be in fairly good condition. It is apparent that work is being done to improve course conditions. Our foursome will keep this course for future play.
