A Bargain
Got a great rate via golf now. Greens a bit slow as it looked like they had verticut them recently & were allowing them to heal. Fairways very dry and brown…guess the owners chose not to overseed with winter rye. But overall, an enjoyable round and a pretty good layout, especially for the $
Great layout with doglegs right and left. Course still needs work from new owners.
Pleasantly surprised
Nice layout and very friendly stafff. Course was well maintained and greens were starting to come back. This course will be in great condition in another month
Citrus National
Course was very nice. Greens in good shape considering the lack of rain. Played straight through with no delay. Challenging course but enjoyable. I will be back.
Future potential
The course hopefully is in transition to improve conditions. Nice layout but in poor shape when we played. We got a reduced rate which made it worth playing for the first time. Pro shop staff was great.

I play this course a lot because it’s in my neighborhood and it’s become one of my favorite places to play. Greens and fairways are in good shape and the Golfnow deal for under $20 buck was just icing on the cake. Excellent staff and the new owners have made many improvements, be back next week!
Nice course but needed some care.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience. The one thing, I thought could have been better was the overall condition of the fairways and rough. The fairways were very dry and with little turf. I wonder if the time of year had anything to do with the conditions.
This course needs a lot of Love
We saw worker's most of the round doing maintenance and maybe improvements, which it needs more improvements than anything, the fairways were light brown, the greens and tees were greenish brown. We were expecting something similar to the picture associated with the TeeOff website. This course is similar to Inverness CC with a sandy base and the only time, we'll play there is when GroupGolfer offers it for $19 to $22. We're from MI and this past summer 2 groups (Tu & Th 45+ golfers) of mostly seniors played at least 10 courses that were 5 to10 times in better shape and the price range was $12 to $20 for an 18H w/cart round. The $12 rounds were at 3 different muni's and they were all at least in the 8x's better shape category. Citrus has a nice layout but right now it doesn't deserve to be using National in its name! We won't play here again until the advertising picture actually matches the course conditions!!!

Always enjoy playing here.Course layout for the most part is interesting and challenging.Staff is friendly and helpful.Just wish you folks could get some of the fairways back in shape., otherwise love golfing here.
Good but beginning to over price itself out of market
This course and Sugarmill are convenient and nice to play but I recently paid $63 at Sugarmill and I understand they are raising prices again in January. They are not getting the play they should be with World Woods closed because they are pricing themselves out of the market. They should be in $35 to $50 range. We play weekly but guys will go elsewhere if rates increase again.
