Citrus National Golf Club

We played early afternoon. Not crowded at all. Greens were very nice. We haven't played for almost a year so it was a wonderful afternoon.

Overall the greens are in pretty decent shape. I’ve been playing and traveling to different courses in the Tampa Bay Area and their greens are respectable. But it’s heavily lacking TLC on the fairways and the “rough” is bare with splotchy patches of grass. Not too impressed to be honest. It’s actually gotten worse since I’ve played there this past winter. Also it’s not worth nothing more than a Hot Deal and thats even pushing it. I’ve played $40 courses that should’ve been $80-$100 and this one is not

Ii was definitely an unexpected surprise playing at southern woods. Played a course in this area a short time ago & was very disappointed. I wasn’t expecting much but wanted to try this course. It was inviting from the first hole. I felt challenged but could still feel confidence playing the holes as the added up. Greens were perfect considering the time of year. I loved the waterfall. Would & will play again. Im thankful for the experience & fun playing this course. Really enjoy playing a good course for the first time

Very nice course fairways were near perfect my only gripe was the golf carts are old and need to be replaced

Played my first round here. Course was decent. If you are in the fairway you can have a nice lie. Anything off the fairway was sandy grass. Greens were ok. Unsure if I would go back. Need to get another good Tee Off deal to do so.

Course was in great condition, with a old country club feel.. free range balls before you play, with a nice practice area for chipping, putting, and sand trap

Very good attention to detail. Greens were immaculate and fairways were far above avg. Have played here many times and the staff and members make you feel very welcome. Layout is exceptional and forces you to use every club in the bag. Driving range and short game practice facility is amazing.

10/10 Fairways

9/10 Greens A little slow but in excellent condition

7/10 Tee Boxes Some could use some work

6/10 Sand traps. Need to add sand

Overall Course is in excellent shape. Go out and play. You won’t be dissatisfied.

The layout and condition of this course is super nice and you get free range balls. The greens are some of the nicest greens in the area and fairways and tee boxes are also in very good condition. Would recommend to anyone.

I’ve played this course several times due to the proximity to my home and it’s always been in decent shape. The only complaints I have are that the golf carts are on their last leg and that the sand traps are a mess, if you hit the ball in the trap be prepared for solid ground with rocks, no sand. Other then that the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. If the new owners address the issues this course will be one of the nicest around.

Will be a 5 star course if the work is kept up.

Overall, a nice course. Nice practice facility, Greens recently punched so a little bumpy, but not bad. Some tee boxes are in bad shape but still playable.

The overall course is good. The greens were just air rated and the putting is effected by that. But give it a couple of weeks and the course will be great.

Started little after 12 and was done by 2:30. Had one person in front of me and he let me go thinking I was in hurry.

Good layout and decent condition. Tee boxes were pretty good for most part. Fairways were good few spots here and there that were bare.

Greens have been aerated and are sandy. Not great but not terrible.
