The Groves Golf and Country Club
About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Great short course
Always enjoy playing here. Good way to practice clubs I don’t use on a longer course. Tee boxes and greens are in good shape as are the fairways. The staff is friendly.
Challenging short course.
Very nice clean course. Need precise golf shots. Don't believe its an easy par 3. It isn't. It will challenge you on every hole. We'll worth the price. Will play it again for sure.
Hello, thanks so much for your review and feedback. We hope to see you again soon!
Great course
Played 9 holes in the afternoon heat, course conditions are great, staff were extremely welcoming, bar staff helped with anything we needed and food was really good
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at The Groves Golf and Country Club.
The course was in great condition
Perfect condition. The greens were in phenomenal shape. I did loose a lot of balls, a few dog legs and some hard blind spots. Hole 18 is a summagun. It’s a short course but very fun to play

Plush greens and uniform fairways
For a par 66 course with eight par threes The Groves still requires great shots due to the lengths of the majority of the par threes. The two right dogleg par fives are both unique and require strategy and accuracy also. The par fours are mostly straightforward with number 12 being an eagle opportunity. Well keep grass through out and a continuous cart path with on course restrooms are always in great shape. There is also a very nice practice putting green and driving range. Overall a great place!
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club.
Always a great staff. Greens are best in Pasco. Could use a bit more drinking water on course. A beer cart wouldn’t hurt either
Thanks so much for your wonderful review. We are thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us. Please visit again soon. Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club!

We love The Groves! We find that it's an easy course to navigate, the staff are all friendly and the course layout is great. We love to take our son there who is learning how to play the game. I also like the flexibility of being able to just play 9 holes and only get charged for 9.
Great little course
I was very impressed with how very well kept the course was. The greens were fabulous.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club.
course Review
Outstanding Staff and overall facilities
Can't wait to play again
Thanks so much for the great review! We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club.
Always great
The Groves is one of my 2 main courses and is always in great shape for a local semi-private course, especially for the great price.
It’s a bit shorter so it takes the driver out of your hands and makes you work your mid/long irons as well as woods off the tee. Having water and woods on every hole forces you to be much more accurate and to play smarter golf also.
The new restaurant staff has a great new place and good atmosphere for post round relaxing.
Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at The Groves Golf and Country Club.
Groves
Lots of areas still need repair, but still a good course for my wife and I.

Great greens, fun course for all skill levels
First time leaving a review on GolfNow, but this course deserves more love! Greens were in fantastic condition. It’s a short course, but provides some challenges along with a ton of great birdie opportunities. Staff was great, will be back soon!
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club.
Great course for the money
Greens are in really good shape lots of work being done to improve fairways and around the greens. Bring your A game with your irons as you won't need a driver on more than 4 holes. Fun course to play.
Thanks so much for the great review! We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing The Groves Golf and Country Club.
My Favorite Iron Course
Not overly long at approx 4000 yards, but conditions are always solid on and around the greens as well as the tee boxes. I usually only hit driver on 1 and 16. The shortness of the course, tight layout, and angled right doglegs make it a fun course to practice your iron play. Staff is usually great and pace of play usually 3 hours.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon. The Groves Golf and Country Club thanks you!
Good day @ the Groves
This was a fun day the course is in really good shape some of the fairways are patchy but not all bad. The greens are great and have average speed. We played with a great gentleman named Larry and had a great time telling stories about life and golf. The pace of play was excellent we never saw hardly anybody all day. Be warned this course is short but VERY difficult you have to place the ball in certain spots or you cannot reach the green. It has short yardage but a super hard golf course. Of course, there are a lot of par 3's and a couple of funky holes. I enjoyed it I can recommend it . Very nice staff as well 5 stars from me!

One Issue
This is always a great course to play. My only issue is that I always get paired with strangers. I want to play with just the person/people I come with, and playing with strangers adds an element of stress. Just my opinion!!
This is very disturbing you dont like meeting new people? i play as a single all the time and i love it when i make new friendships
Love this course
One of my favorite courses in the area. I play here about 2-3 times per month. It is a bit of a shorter course but I love it. Pace of play is good, staff is super friendly, club house is cool, greens are always in pretty good shape, and the course is perfect.
