The Groves Golf and Country Club

I found this course shortly after moving to the area. After visiting the driving range, I met some ladies that were all a part of the women's league that just finished their round. They were very friendly and welcoming and invited me to join their league, which I gladly accepted. I have only been paying once a week with them as well as some special tournaments. Even though I am not a very good player, I love to play and have made some great friendships there. I look forward to playing each week and hope to improve my game!

This is one of the best short courses in the Lutz/Land O Lakes area. Great tee boxes, fairways, and greens kept very clean. Overall, a great community to golf in.

I was not expecting as much water holes and lost at least three balls. They had closed the front nine for fixing up the course. But the value to play with cart included was a steal. They only charged 20.00 with a cart..

The front nine was closed so the back nine twice was the answer. Love this course. Didn’t do any better playing the same holes a second time but the opportunity to play a different club on a second try was fun. Will be back when all 18 are ready

This is a fun, challenging course for a short/executive course. The greens and fairways were kept in very good condition. Depending on the time of day, you can get through the course fairly quickly, however, it is in a retirement community, so, if you go when it’s busy, you could be stuck behind many older foursomes that tend to play slow and can add considerable wait times.

This is one of the best public courses in the Tampa Bay area! Yesterday, the fairways were in fairly bad condition compared to how they usually are. The greens looked great, though.

Enjoy playing here every time. You can work on all your shots. Love going here. Friendly staff and always feel good when we leave.

This course gives lots of opportunities to score and is very well maintained. GPS on the quiet cart was very helpful. It's a cool track, and the tees, greens, fairways, and bunkers were very nicely maintained. The staff is friendly, and that hot dog at the turn did the trick. Thanks again

I try to play here a few times a month and the course is always in great condition. There are some challenging holes with risk reward options of going for it in 1 (5/10/13/18)but I go for a relaxing follow-up round and to work on the short game. Great nature viewing and when the summer comes I can usually get 2 rounds in very quickly in the evenings without being fatigued the next day. Great staff and they have practice facilities. My only Ace was here on the 150yd #14 si it will always be a special course for me.

The Groves is a short course but each shot makes you think and tests your golf skills. The course is beautiful with lots of wildlife. The course is in real good condition and the greens are even better. Whether you are a great golfer or an amateur it is a great course to play. The staff there are very friendly and keep the course running smooth and on time. The groves is one of Tampa Bay’s nicest golf courses

The staff is very friendly, the course is always in great condition. Fairways and greens very nice. The food is excellent, you have to try it.

Nice layout, greens are very good. It is a short course and will improve your iron play, you can use a driver too.
