About
Surrounded by 200 acres of carefully preserved wetlands, the Groves Golf & Country Club offers championship golf in a spectacular setting. It sits conveniently just 20 minutes north of Tampa in Land O Lakes. Maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape was a top priority when designing the golf course, which is why the layout manages to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. The course, which measures 4,026 yards, offers all of the challenging qualities of a championship-length course but can be played in four hours or less. The player-friendly golf course offers something for all skill levels whether you are a scratch golfer looking for a quick round, or a beginner looking for some challenging practice. In addition to the course, The Groves also boasts a unique aqua driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Great short course
We like this shorter course with the exception of 18. Tricky double dog leg with narrow fairway. Large gator on the fairway was a surprise but he didn't interfere with the pace of play. Greens are consistent and in good shape.

Love at First Site
The Groves has to be the best non-Par 72 18-holer I've ever played. The course was in immaculate shape all the way around and had some true golf beauty to it. Workers from the pro shop to the rangers were extremely nice. Guy in the pro shop let my father in law borrow a driver and putter for the round without charging us. This course was perfect for my beginner fiance. She usually hates golf with a passion, especially long courses, but this course gave us the ability to play 18 while keeping her engaged, because the holes were short enough that she could actually play. On top of that, I left my GPS out there and Nico was kind enough to get that in the mail to me same day as I came down from Chicago. Couldn't have asked for a better day with family and got to see some awesome wildlife in the process. Highly recommend.

Nice course with a lot of Par 3’s
Great for work on your irons. Length of the course is perfect. Just don’t go when they are fertilizing it smells.

Grove course
Overall the course is in good shape. Some spots than are a little wet and a couple too dry. A couple tee boxes need some work. It’s always a pleasant place to play.

If you want to practice your short game, this is a fun and challenging little course.

Great short course
Bring a good iron game and you will score well. Only hit driver on 2 holes. Fairways were in great shape considering it hasn't rained in weeks. Greens were fast and smooth. The food at the 19th was reasonably priced and portions were huge. Plan to play there often.

Very fun short course!
Course was is great shape! Really enjoyed all the holes and all the nature surrounding it. It was very cool to drive over the wooden bridges throughout the conservation areas and see all sorts of wildlife! Great value for the money! Would highly recommend!
