Winston Trails Golf Club

All customer service was terrible, first hole the grounds keepers were "FLOODING the #1 green, and working on changing hole -all the while our foursome was trying to play! No one mentioned work being done on any specific hole.

Starter was rushing us to get going, but failed to mention if we played and used the #1 green, that the Course Superintendent would be yelling we were "f" idiots, and throwing our golf balls off the greens. We asked if we could play using the #1 green, and all the guy would say was "f" you all" guys, wait until we're done-even though they we're flooding the green and just so rude! The remaining of our playing the 17 holes, the Ground crew would just drive down the middle of the fairways and just stop, glaring at the entire foursome-just bad!

Will never play there again. Terrible place, terrible people servicing the paying customers.

Staff is very rude, quality of course is poor. They stack tee times and consistently put people to start all over the course. Poorly managed, when I mentioned these concerns, they did not care. I am not going back to this course and I would not recommend to anyone.

First time playing this track. Course was very challenging, greens were fast, rough was thick. Very enjoyable round of golf. I would recommend this course to anyone who loves golf. Practice faculties are great they have plenty of room for warm up and practicing all types of shots you might find on the course.

I went to play yesterday and would never go back. I would recommend all stay away from this course until they have new management and staff.

I pulled into the parking lot and a golf attendant came up within inches of my face with no mask. I was then told I had to share a cart with someone and even though I express concern for my current health they said they would not allow anyone to be in their own cart. I proceeded into the pro shop and calmly explained the situation and the person in the pro shop had a mask only covering their mouth and nose was totally out and exposed. They refused to give me a cart and said no course in the county would do so. It's funny because I live on a golf course and watch singles in cart drive by every single day.

In from out of town. In spite of the fact that I played poorly , I liked the course. Plays fair. Rough makes the course harder than it looks. Would play again If I return to the area.

Hadn’t been here in a year for various reasons. Got a great price played with some good people in decent weather and shot well. Greens were mostly great they have plastic separating cart so you can play with a friend and also remove it if you choose. Always a challenging course.

Enjoyed the course, could use a few more signs directing to the next tee! But overall, very nice course!

Poured rain for 30 minutes before our round. Course played well and rarely saw any standing water.

I’ve played Winston Trails for years now, enjoy the fast greens and better than average course conditions... seems as Covid-19 has took its toll on the beloved course. Tee boxes were decent but rough was 3 inches deep crabgrass and greens have slowed to a Normal pace ... personally it’s lost it’s luster so I’ll just play other places

Winston Trails has a policy of shared Golf Carts.

They say that with a clear vinyl wall between passengers provides safety and complies to local health code.

I brought a friend and we did not feel comfortable with this. We requested to be placed in separate carts.we were told this is management policy and they could not honor our request.

Thus for our personal feeling of safety we cancelled our reservation and went to a competitor course.
