Atlantic National Golf Club

I’ve played this course 6 times over the last 3 years. In previous years, the course was a bit dried out letting your ball get an extra 10 to 30 yards on a low running tee shot. My round yesterday was in better conditions with the course looking verdant and playing to its true distance. There’s quite a number of doglegs but neither I nor my wife had any problems getting to the turn on any of them. There’s a lot of water but most of it is lateral with forgiving fairways. It provides a fair test of your game.

All good, from bag drop, range and putting green, to first tee, all staff were friendly. Course is in good condition and layout is what you see is what you get. It was a nice golf experience. The 19th hole was definitely not their strong point, staff were pleasant at the 19th hole, the weakness is layout and design it is similar to a high school cafeteria. . We had a rain delay with golf cancellation, due to weather. The pro shop team were much more helpful than golf now team. Would return to play.

Course is in good shape. Greens rolling nice and true. Firm fairways and a nice layout. The range is hitting off of grass which is big for me. Pace of play really depends on tee time it seems. Played one week early morning and pace of play was amazing! Played last time later in the day and pace of play was behind and we were backed up a bit. However, the starters would take note and would try to help keep things going along. Overall a good course to play.

I have played a number of the daily fee courses in the area, and this was in the best shape. Tee boxes were in good condition and so were the fairways. Greens were in really good shape and fast!

If you hit where you’re supposed to…the course is quite decent. Good lies on fairway and greens we’re running smooth and fast. Traps in good shape too. A bit rough around the edges, but pretty good layout overall. Good use of doglegs to fit 18 into that land parcel. Would play again.

The outside staff were unfriendly and rude. Ethnic slurs being yelled. The outside staff was very unhelpful and rude. If I had not already paid, I would’ve walked out. The pace of play was extremely slow. They just stacked up foursomes on the first and let people get started. It was easily a Five hour round. The course is not worth the money that they are charging.

Very challenging track. Greens are fast and true. Windy day made it more challenging. Only nit was ranger telling us at the turn that we had to speed play when the group behind us never caught up and we finished in exactly four hours. Attractive and demanding with greens well protected.

Great greens… well bunkered , good condition and very tricky.

Make sure your putting game is well tuned

Course is very playable layout, good condition and the best pace of play.

Back nine much nicer than front nine. Quieter. Prettier. No traffic noise or highways. Decent track. Greens in mostly terrific shape. Pretty much like every other south Florida course. I’d recommend it but not sure it’s worth $100.
