About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Good course ZERO amenities and rushed
While I liked the course there are NO Club Style amenities….COVID is kinda over…..you need a restaurant, coffee machine, hot plate……SOMETHING..
Also for $100 green fee I dont want to be told I am playing 3 minutes over our ALLOTTED average round time and followed by an “ assistant”….fix these issues and My friends and I will play here again….otherwise..hello Atlantis, Winston Trails, Links at Boynton or Westchester.
Good Golflcourse
It is a pity that 4 holes of this good Golf Course are only a few yards away from Floridas Turnpike and very loud from permanent traffic!
After you have left those behind you, it is a very enjoyable experiences!

Challenging golf course
Challenging golf course courses in good condition enjoy playing it staff is somewhat unfriendly no restaurants or no beverage carts out on the course

Always a great time here never too busy, pace of play is almost always moving along great. Range and practice area is nice and kept staff is also friendly

Atlantic Club Very NIce
This was our first time playing the course. The layout was very nice, exciting and challenging, but fair. Got paired up with two gentlemen from Montreal, Bernard and Allen extremely nice folks to play golf with. This made the round even more enjoyable. We will be playing this course again real soon as the course conditions were some of the best we have played in Florida so far. Greens rolled true an fast, Fairways actually had grass on them. A great day of golf.
Down side to it all there is no restaurant open, the beverage cart came by once and made last call around 2:30. Maggy was very nice on the cart and very accommodating. Like we said we will be playing again real soon.
