About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Beautiful layout. Fast greens in great condition. Golf carts have very helpful GPS. Highly recommend!

worth the ride
Its about 45 minutes each way for us to play there, but it is worth the traffic . Ni.ce layout, always in pretty good shape. Greens are faster than the normal public course

Nice track
Five par threes make it interesting all of them are very good holes. Fairways and tees in good condition. Because of the rain and a fungus a few of the greens are on the repair still playable. Nice golf course absolutely worth the price of admission. The Ranger was excellent today very friendly and he was doing his job.

Always Great
We hadn't been here to play for maybe 2 years. Reminded of us of why we like this place so much. They are very organized. Course in very good playing condition. GPS in carts is great. Fun course to play. Always a good time here.

Nice course
Course was very nice, but not in the best shape, ome of the greens were very rough. Not worth $50 for 1pm on a Saturday. I will not play it again at that price.

Greens were hard and fast. Unduly tough on approach shots. Lost 4/5 on/off hard greens. Putting fast but true. Snack bar closed??

Great Course but greens need help
I really like Atlantic National golf course, it’s a great layout and reasonably difficult but fair. It’s always an enjoyable experience. The only two issues currently are that the greens need help, several are in pretty bad shape. The other issue is the range has been mats only for months now which is very disappointing. The grass is still sparse on the range after near perfect growing conditions this summer. All the other local courses have terrific grass on their greens and ranges this summer. Not sure what the problem is but I hope they fix it soon.

Rainout
Rained out on 12th hole. Clubhouse says call Golfnow for credit. All I get is info on my page which leads me in circles. Cannot. Get a phone # for Golfnow. 2nd bad experience with golf now as far as getting credit for rain delays. They make it very difficult.

This is a very good course
Course in beautiful shape. Greens recently aerated so watch for that but fairways teeboxes and layout are quality
