About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Nice Course
I enjoyed playing this course. Greens are fast. Down hill putts are very difficult. There is plenty of sand and water. Overall, I would recommend you try it.

A Beautiful Test of golf
The fairways are in great shape, the greens well guarded and very slick. The layout is quite challenging, probably friendlier for left to right player. This is my favorite course in the area

Nice but pricey
I visit area a couple times a year and am playing many different courses. I figured at this price there would be a WOW factor. Very nice, but expected more.

Great Day on a very nice course
Greens were smooth and quick. Course was in great shape. Played in 3:36!
Worth the price
Always in great shape. Pricey but so is everyone these days. Very disappointed restaurant closed on a Saturday for lunch!!! Snack bar is very limited.

If you’re five minutes behind.......
The course is perfect.....just perfect!
But....being told that we were 5 minutes behind and that the foursome following us had called the Marshall about that...wow!!!!!! You have four hours to play the course...... they dare really serious about that!

Decent golf course, the Ranger was kind of a jerk. We were playing as a foursome and twice he told us to speed up even though we finished the front nine in 1:55 minutes and the back in 1:50. 3 hours 45 minutes, four guys who didn’t know each other. None of us had ever played there before. Ranger said it was the pro shop telling him to push us. They need to work on that.
