Atlantic National Golf Club

They punched the greens and fairway earlier in the week and the course was in terrible condition. This normally is a great course but I would wait at least 2-3 weeks before playiing.

it had rained previous night so course was soggy in many places. However, it was a nice course, good layout, good pace of play. I would play it again.

The course was recovered several years ago from absolutely horrible pasture like conditions. The running joke wad that goats didn't even like it.

The greens are a little bit inconsistent speed but in good shape all around. I enjoy the design, as there is not many similarities between them. Pace of play was good and staff were pleasant and helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to bring my brother who plays at private clubs almost exclusively.

Very disappointed in my trip to Atlantic National. I had heard good things about the course conditions but it was not what I was expecting.. Very poor communication between the pro shop and the starter to begin with. Starter seems aloof and unhelpful. Once on the course I found numerous bare spots on every hole and instead of treating the problem they spray paint it green like no one is going to notice.. smh you have had 4 months to address maintenance issues and still can’t grow grass consistently. The greens were average at best the bunkers were poor and lack consistency from one to the next. I only played nine holes and that was enough for me. Plenty of other better tracks in the area for the same price

This course presents a challenging layout that should make for entertaining golf. But the conditions have deteriorated so much that I will make other choices for play in the future. The fairways are a crabgrass fiesta, the greens are dried out and pock marked, and the traps have no sand and quite a few rocks. This course seems to be going under.

This was my 2nd time playing Atlantic National and would absolutely play here again. The greens were a bit dry in spots but you could tell they are trying to fix them. Other than that, tee boxes and fairways are in good shape/ condition. Overall, this is a great course and recommend it to all.

I’ve played this course multiple times and really enjoy the conditions and layout. Greens roll true, a bit slow right now but in good shape. Fairways in good shape also. I do have an issue with the ranger being pretty rude - and this is not the first time.

We played in the afternoon and there was no one on the course, likely because the heat. Ranger saw one of my buddies duff a tee shot and gave us a hard time and complained that we should play a different set of tees. Didn’t put it in a nice we either. We were playing from the whites, not the tips. Overall we play pretty well and were obviously not slowing anything down since no one was behind us. We finished in 3 hours, 15 minutes.

I love this course but the pro should really have a talk with the ranger about being more friendly, as he has been a jerk in the past too. Makes me second guess wanting to go back there unfortunately. Didn’t want to rate the staff friendliness because everyone there is great besides the ranger.

The greens are in great shape and are rolling true. I played really good and made several birdies with the great shape of the greens. The fairways were in good shape and the overall layout was really fun.

I consider this my home course though I do not live in the community. I like this course because very few flags are staring at you from the tee box. Staff is great. Greens are slow. I wished they would cut them a little shorter and rolled them. You really have to stroke the ball as compared to many private courses in the area. TIP: Bring a large ARTIC chiller cup or the like to get ice from the machine at the range ball dispensary. There is no water on the course due to COVID.

Wow this place is fun to play. really challenging hole layouts, fast greens and overall very beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

Great value and course layout...But needed attention some time ago during the drought and now a bit soggy in some paces and bare in other places. Greens need time, just punched and seeded, sure they will be nice in a month or so.

This was my first time playing here. I would def play again. Challenging but also forgiving in spots. Lots of water so you have to hit fairly straight. All in all, I had a great time and will be playing Atlantic National again.
