About
Formerly known as Grand Lacuna Golf Club, this par-71 championship course now goes by the name Atlantic National Golf Club. Designed in the late 1980s by Joe Lee, the course was designated one of the 50 best public courses in Florida. The challenging layout has plenty of variety that will require all different types of shots. Golfers will find that they need to use every club in their bag. Water hazards come into play on several holes but the strategically placed bunkers that lurk along the greensides and fairways are particularly tricky. There are some tough holes but it is an accommodating layout for all skill levels, especially since it has four diverse sets of tees. In addition to the golf course, Atlantic National offers a grass driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping area with a practice bunker.

Really nice place
Course was in good shape, greens were great. Staff was friendly, all but cart boy didn’t like where we returned the carts, which was right next to the cart return sign. Still it was a great time.

I love this course
Just got done with 36 holes. Greens roll true, course is challenging and requires some decent shots to shoot even.

I’ll be baxk
Fast greens, good condition, interesting layout. Not overly easy, not overly hard either.
Lightening fast greens
Lots of variety, some water hazards, the fastest greens I've played locally; use the putting practice surfaces before you play.
The course is in great shape as we enter the season. Good value for the money as the cost to play in Florida escalates as the snowbirds return.

Fast greens
Excellent excellent excellent!! Greens were super fast! Loved it!! Kicked my butt but course is in awesome condition!!
Well Kept, Friendly
Course was in great shape. Impressed that all divots were filled, ball marks repaired. Staff very friendly . Will definitely play again. COVID killed the off course amenities, as 19th hole close early.

Great course
Course is beautifully laid out and bonus is having GPS in every cart. Has a good driving range, putting and chipping greens.
Only thing I can complain about is if you book closer to afternoon time, you might get a foursome ahead of you taking way too much time. We had to skip their hole and move passed them. But great course and I’ll be back again.
