Miami Springs Golf & Country Club

Miami springs is a course we always play. The fairways are usually mediocre, but greens this time were improved. It is best deal formone, especially for golfers used to public courses. In afternoons you can sometimes play very quickly. Several good holes

Very please with course. Challenging, conditions were good. Enjoyed the course.

Nice course with good layout and interesting holes. Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes could use some work but for the price it was a good winter deal. Would play again.

Was in a 2 some for the first 9 (played the back nine first) and then a 4 some for the second 9 (front nine). Felt slow but it really wasn't that bad.

From Abe Mitchell the 1924 winner of the Miami Open to Sam Snead, the last winner (his fifth) in 1955 this friendly course has 60 year old greens that still challenge the best shots. Sloping from back to front, very well bunkered, including one of the longest par threes in all of South Florida, the 12th hole measuring 248 from the tips, Miami Springs is not very penalizing yet its long for the mid handicapper. With ample fairways and recently refurbished sand traps. The 19th hole has great food and cold beer always on tap. Bottom line, a great experience awaits you at the Home of the Miami Open, Miami Springs Golf Course.

I was referred to this course a while back from locals I met playing TPC Eagle.

They were spot on and it was worth it.

Literally alongside of Miami Intl Airport is a gem of a layout.

Easy to follow/find your way around. A simple layout that trades length for elevated smaller sized and nice rolling (9) greens.

Where par threes are simple yet lengthy without stupid and penal surroundings. The occasional par four that plays very long.

I really enjoyed this course. It’s old school.

The course was in good condition and fun to play. There was no light in the bathroom on the front nine.

Throughout our sun-drenched, four-hour round, a good friend of mine who lives in Miami kept saying the beloved Springs was an underrated gem. And when the greens are in solid (though not true rolling) shape, and the fairways and rough are as playable as they can be in January dry weather, this old-school track is something special. Top if off with smooth pace of play, exceptional adult beverage service from Anais and delicious post-round victuals at the clubhouse, and the deceptively tough track vaults itself into a must-play stop for value-minded visitors to South Florida.. Lone blemishes were somewhat unyielding bunkers and no cart GPS.

Nice pace to the greens, probably 9.5or 10 stimp. The bunkers are in Good condition, greens smooth and healthy. Tee boxes have been recently sanded. There are many tee boxes no longer maintained, please consider opening them back up, they add needed length and new angles for longer hitters. The 248 yd par 3 should have a drier firmer approach area, all of the approaches should play faster to allow run up shots on windy days. The rough has been taken over with clover. Love the 16th. Had a hole in one on it today!

We came down to play from the Weston area and really hate the traffic coming down so for that reason alone, we probably wont be coming back. The proshop guy was super friendly!!! The course started off a bit rough but the conditions improved after the first few holes. Nice layout, lots of doglegs and the greens were good. Pace not good ad a partying foursome in front of us rehitting balls etc. Good day though overall.

Greens were fast and fairways were solid. Definitely would recommend if you didn’t want to spend $60+ for a round.

Overall enjoyed the course. Was in pretty good condition. Oddly the putting green was not great, but the greens on the course were better.

Was difficult sometimes to get a good distance from ball location to hole. Some areas of the course could have been maintained a little better but still pretty good.

I was in a few sand traps and the last one was very different consistency from the earlier ones, so that threw off that one shot.

The Springs was in great shape (with the exception of a few tee boxes) and the greens were rolling true! Hard to find a better value in South Florida, plus there is so much history here at Miami’s first golf course. Very friendly staff and food in the bar was good.
