Miami Springs Golf & Country Club
About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Golfer Reviews
Great round, great value!
The Springs was in great shape (with the exception of a few tee boxes) and the greens were rolling true! Hard to find a better value in South Florida, plus there is so much history here at Miami’s first golf course. Very friendly staff and food in the bar was good.
Great Price and Design
One of the better layouts in Miami. Lots of history at this course. For the price you cannot beat it. Conditions of the rough are not the best but the greens are sloped well, and moderately fast. Was very impressed of the greens.
Club Rentals Pathetic
This is definitely not a $65 course, even on Sunday mornings. Visiting Miami and it was closest to me. Their marketing slogan as home of the no-existent Miami Open in 1955 tells you that nothing much has happened there since. My rental putter was showing metal at the end/top . . . hint to GC: Golf pride replacement grip is ~$3.00. No cart-girl on course for the 4.5 hours I played; no marshal either. Will probably not play again but I can see it being an option for locals.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, however, we're truly sorry to hear you recent experience with us did not meet expectations. We are committed to providing our golfers with a valuable golf experience, but we apologize if we missed the mark on your round. Your comments regarding our rental clubs and staff services have been shared appropriately for improvements, and we hope we have the chance to have you back for a much-improved round in the future.
Fast greens
Outstanding value...greens were quick..wish people would rake the bunkers
Great value
I've played this course a few times, and I keep coming back to it because it's a fun track, it's always in good condition and most important because you don't lose as many balls.
Today was extremely windy, which is rare for this course, but that made it more challenging and fun to play.
Miami Springs Golf Course
Wonderful Golf Course, very well maintained, greens beautiful and then whole golf course was so nice. Had a great & relaxing time playing my favorite hobbie & sport.
Please keep this place a secret
Great course and very helpful and friendly staff. I hope it does not become too popular!
The course is an old gem. Sure, it is not pristine but for a vintage Miami golf experience you cannot beat Miami Springs. The staff are gracious and the course breathes legacy.. Only criticism is that a ranger would surely speed up the pace of play. Never saw one.
Good Course but bring your food from an outside restaurant.
All was good. Went into the club house to eat. Bartender (Jesica) was very good. The food (Cheese burger) looked like road kill and it took for ever to get the food from the kitchen and the restaurant was empty. Can't tell you how long it would of taken if other people would of been eating.
Pleasant round
Wide open fairway’s, no water, good place to play as your 1st round coming out of hibernation from up north.
Not good, even with hot deal
Started out by hitting directions on their confirmation email, sent me to park district headquarters. When I finally get there I’m greated by the angriest man in the golf business. Headed to first tee by myself and caught a twosome on the 5th hole. Waiting..waiting... after 9 I parked my cart and started walking the back side. Waiting...waiting...waiting. The rude twosome NEVER let me through. Not going back.
1st Time At this Course
This course was a hour away from my lodging but well worth the drive Great layout great course condition.
Friendly and good value
we played as a couple and enjoyed our round. Very reasoonable rate through Golfnow.com.
Reliable Track
Always a good challenge. Wish greens were a little bit better and you have to roll it in the fairways. But what a great look into classic golf course design. Always enjoyed playing this track. One of the few golf courses left in Miami.....
Thanks for the 4-stars and great feedback! We value all of your comments and truly appreciate your support of Miami Springs Golf & Country Club. Come again soon! #MiamiSpringsCC
