Miami Springs Golf & Country Club
About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

NIce Track - just a little pricey
Staff friendly - Greens average and a bit slow. Fairway conditions below average with bare spots. Nice track layout. Just a little too pricey for overall experience. Would play again if offered at lower price.
The course wasn’t very busy and we were not rushed at all. Made for a very relaxing afternoon on the course for my wife and I.
Need ranger
We tee'd off as twosome @1:30 pm
Course was backed up with 3-4 groups directly in front of us. One group had 7 golfers. 7 people golfing the entire 18 holes. Never saw a ranger, not at 1st tee or during the entire round. If golfers are making other players wait when then faster players should play through. It is very easy to golf this course in less than 3.25 hrs
Ok course close to Miami
To be honest the course is ok. However, the cost for this round should be about $80.00. Definately not worth 125-150 for non resident.
Not the best not the worst
Reasonable price for the area.Very relaxed environment to play in.Greens decent.Fairways and tee boxes can be a bit rough.
Fun course to play it’s pretty wide open I lost one ball I normally lose 5-6
Great municipal course
I had an 8:37 tee time & was allowed to start early. 18 holes in 3 hours is a great pace for most courses. I played alone, but there was a 4-some in front of me. They came back & asked if I wanted to play through, but they were keeping a good pace, & it allowed me to take a couple minutes to consider shot options. This was my first time playing this course & I would definitely return.
Don’t waste your money
Miami-dade county golf courses have become a disgrace. Over priced and underwhelming course conditions. I paid $60 on a 7:30am hot deal. I thought I was getting value but sadly I was disappointed with the conditions. The fact is Miami Springs is over priced. Greens were slow with pitch marks everywhere. Somewhat lush but uneven in areas. Only positive was that the surface of the greens were firm from new installation. Fairways are bare with dirt and weeds. Tee boxes are trash, no other way to describe it. Carts are gas and no gps. Shame on me for thinking it was going to be different this time around. Won’t be going back unless it’s free or under $40 to play here. This place is a dump.
Same Old Same Old
Used to live next to the course..played many times..MUCH less money...they shut down the course and made improvements...I have since moved but wanted to play it again and had money from a canceled time & it was available...the greens were probably better than when I played before but the rest of the course was pretty much the same..conditions too...the workers are nice...
