Miami Springs Golf & Country Club
About
Miami Springs Golf & Country Club dates back to 1925, making it one of the oldest courses in the area. The club is the original home of the Miami Open and it has hosted many notable players over the years including Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. The golf course has become a local favorite over the years, offering a round that is both challenging and affordable. The golf course has a traditional design with narrow fairways lined with mature trees and the greens are small and subtly undulating. It's a layout that demands accuracy and careful course management will be generously rewarded. You won't find too much water on the golf course but there are some strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. Miami Springs Golf & C.C. has some tricky holes but it's not overly difficult for the high handicapper.

Rough shape
Seems like a decent layout and with a lot of tlc could be a pretty nice course. Greens were firm but in good shape. Tee boxes were not level and beat up. Fairway was spotty but okayish. The rough was very patchy and your ball ended up in a bare spot/whole more often than not if you were in it. Sand seemed to be in good shape.
The grass range was pretty nice
One person in my group rented clubs and they were still dirty. Asked one of the attendants to clean them off a bit before we started and he just handed us a rag and said here you go…
Overall for the price, this course is not worth it. You could get essentially the same experience and any local muni for about half the cost.
Course was in great shape, greens were smooth, fairways green and the rough was rough.
Play on
Staff was great, course was empty and we played fast. They let us keep playing after 18 to sneak in a few more holes which was very generous. The course itself is not in great shape, we had to play improved lie to get on grass.
Plays like a cheap muni course not worth the money. If you need a place to play & have no other options.
During the season it’s overpriced. Off season not bad
Fix your pricing!!
The course played as it always does - no surprises there. However, it was largely empty, mid morning on Saturday. Paying $115 per player, I am not surprised.
C’mon, Miami Springs, price yourself fairly, rather than just ripping off the public. Then more people will come out!
Convenient course in good condition
Miami Springs golf course is a convenient and well kept golf course near the Miami airport. I would recommend it for any one visiting Miami that wants to get in a game of golf.
Miami Springs---OK
Looked like a muni and played like a muni.
Nice course but nothing spectacular.
Just under $100, I would expect a bit more but for Miami, guess it's reasonable.
