Rocky Bayou Country Club

This is a beautiful course! Well kept and great scenery. Playing conditions are always good. Not overly difficult, but enough challenge to make it fun. Highly recommend!

A little sand and some holes in the green no a big deal

Ok, we caught it when the greens were just aerated (my bad). But Rocky Bayou is a beautiful course and if I was going to join any course as a member it would definitely be Rocky Bayou.

Greens and fairways had just been aired and sandy. No one stated this before play

Course is in great shape tee to green. Good fun layout with elevation changes not seen as much in FL. Amazing pricing also

My friend and I discovered this course (not being from the area) last year while we were down on vacation. We had been used to playing the more upscale courses in the Destin - Sandestin region, which honestly play a little tough for our ability. Rocky Bayou offers a friendly layout for the average golfer with good rolling greens and fairway grass that plays pretty well. We now like to play this course first when we come down before we jump onto a tougher course that usually beats us up. Friendly staff at the course too.

This course checks off all boxes of excellence for an AFFORDABLE golfing experience. From its practice and chipping greens to the driving range it provides what you need to get your game started.

Tee boxes are fair but if you're here for the first time you may want to swallow the ego and move up one place to get a good feel for the fairways and green placement.

After a night of heavy rain we saw no sign of puddling except in a few bunkers. The fairways rolled forever and the greens were true.

We highly recommend Rocky Bayou and will look forward to playing there next spring.

Was looking for an affordable alternative to the overprice courses in Destin. Kelly Plantation was a $130 simply is nowhere near worth that. Was able to get this course for around $40 it was an absolute treat. It couldn't have played any more difficult since they had the US Open qualifier the day before and did not move the pins. Greens run fast and true, courses going to be fantastic in another couple weeks once all the Bermuda comes in. Tree lined layout plenty of water and very challenging for any player from the blue tees. Gentlemen of the pro shop told me only one player broke par from the tips at the US Open qualifier if that tells you anything, you may wanna play up to the white or play white blue combo.

I had a lot of fun with my buddies they had the course dried out for the us open qualifier and it was really tough but as expected. Loved the course and would definitely go back.

Course plays amazing! Greens are fast and break true, pace was great, and the layout is beautiful! If you’re wondering if you should or shouldn’t play here, you should!
