Great course

I always enjoy playing this course when I can find the time. Played a round with my cousin I hadn’t seen since his wedding over four years ago and we had a blast. The only thing I hope to see improved is the availability of morning tee times for non members as I don’t get many chances to play in a month to justify buying a membership but when I do have time rocky bayou is my first choice by far in the area.

Best course this trip

We have always liked Rocky Bayou. We have played a few other courses since we have been on vacation, and most all of them have had some issues with their greens if not major issues. The greens here were spectacular. They were fast as lightning and have a variety of undulations that can really throw your read off. The fairways were also in very good shape. I hope to play here again.

Always a great course and value.

As a local (Santa Tosa Beach), I rarely go over the Mid Bay Bridge, but when I do it’s to play Rocky Bayou! Tee boxes are very good, fairways are somewhat firm but play well and the greens currently are superb. The course layout is fun but not demanding save for a few holes. If you’re reading this and would like to try a course that’s not in Destin I can assure Rocky Bayou is worth the price and the trip. You will have a fun round on course that is well taken care of.
