Rocky Bayou Country Club

Course in good shape for this time of year. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in really good shape, green were fast. Great course for this value.

We have played this course several times and always a fun and interesting course with water, uphills/downhills and more. Unfortunately, everyone was backed up and we even had 3 groups waiting to tee off on one of the holes. Barely finished before dark and we teed off at 12:35-ish - 4 hours and 45 minutes with all of us in carts and no restrictions.

The layout was challenging but fair. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. The only issues are 1 is a little over priced. 2. The pace of play was terrible! Snow birds had the course backed up 4 groups deep in some holes. They had no since of urgency and no one was playing through. It was so frustrating watching everyone in a group take 3-5 practice swings, step off, do it again, then finally hit. They lined up every putt like it was to win the masters. This course really needs a Marshall to keep things moving. I will be back when they had back north because the course is a lot of fun.

Pro shop folks were professional and helpful.

Course is well maintained and has some very picturesque holes.

The course was in decent condition considering the time of year. I found the greens to be extremely challenging as finding a level surface anywhere was nearly impossible.

The pace of play was a major concern (4.5+ hrs) and was avoidable as it appeared one group was holding things up. Even after a marshal warned them, they totally ignored the directive to speed up. Shame on them.

All in all, I didn't mind the layout and will definitely be back to give it another go.

It’s always great to get a true roll with the putter on smooth and quick greens. RBCC has done a fantastic job maintaining the course!

My husband and I played at this course last year and I believe the course is in better condition than last year. There weren’t many people playing so the pace of play was perfect. The greens were in fantastic condition, no issues at all. The fairways were in great condition as well. We had a great round.

Course is well kept. Putting will likely add strokes since the greens are very fast and have lots of slopes. Pin placements were brutal today with some being right on the crest of hills sloping away in all directions. Good course conditions though.

The greens are in excellent shape fairways are typical for Florida this time of year. Would totatally recommend for the price in this area

Played a discounted 9 hole rate as they were doing course improvements and the number one hole was closed. Course was otherwise in excellent shape. Will definitely return.

Normally look forward to playing at Rocky, but on arrival two of the holes were closed due to construction, and there was no water available in the bar so no drinks could be served (And of course you can’t bring your own…). Would’ve been helpful information prior to booking/showing up
