Rocky Bayou Country Club

The course is mostly in good condition, few uneven beat up tee boxes and spots. So with every tee time you get range balls included, NOT if you use GolfNow, they charge you extra for 15 beat up, cracked, broken balls on a small, poorly kept range. Staff treat those who use GolfNow differently, its every course that does it tho, carts are really old, fairways and greens have a hard thin layer of grass, makes for hard bounces and quick greens. Overall, its an average course that over charges for what they offer and how you are treated. The pace was horrible, no ranger, no drink cart was seen, 4 hours for a two some and they closed a hole but didnt tell anyone until you got to the hole. Thankfully here are a ton of better options in the area.

Rocky is one of our go to spots to play a great course. I've never had a bad experience there, except my own playing ability :) I would definitely recommend this course to anyone!

A lovely course in great condition.

Greens were fast and some of the 1st cut tough was tough (cut long and deep).

Enjoyed the round and with definitely visit again. Very friendly staff and members.

Nice track, some elevation changes and good greens.

Course is in good shape, greens are pretty quick and roll fairly true. Mower lines will grab your ball a bit but that’s about it. Pace of play on the front 9 was bad. We were a group of 2 and there was a group of 3 in front of us with nobody in front of them. They didn’t let us play through and we ended up seeing the Marshall on hole 4 and asked if he could tell them to let us play through and he said “if they don’t finish 9 in 2 hours then call the pro shop”. Like really dude? First off 2 hours is roughly the pace of play for 4 golfers, not 3. Second it doesn’t matter what pace of play is, when there is slower golfers ahead, you let the faster ones through. Plain and simple. The course itself has some rough spots but nothing that really effects your game, it would be nice to see them pay some attention to the areas around the tee boxes, cart paths, etc. Making the little things a little nicer would go a long way to dress the course up.

Greens rolled great , fairways were good if you missed a fairway you may or may not be in grass. Otherwise everything was great .

Nice course in good shape. Greens held approach shots well and putting was true. We come to FL twice or three times a year and always enjoy Rocky Bayou! Great value for FL!
