Rocky Bayou Country Club

Very nice course in very good shape. Some very challenging holes but fair

course is in fair condition. layout is quite interesting with water hazards and hills. greens are very difficult because of rolling layout and are very fast.

We very much enjoyed our day at Rocky Bayou. It is a very interesting layout and in very good condition overall for the time of year.

Pace of play was good and staff were friendly. We’ll be back.

The staff was extremely friendly. The price quoted by GolfNow was $5 less than I was required to pay. The course was a nice layout but not in great shape. Could have been because of all of the recent rain although the day before and the day of play had great weather. Except for the price, I would recommend the course.

First, got a hot deal for $22 which was really a steal. Fairways really rolled which (being from North East) had not seen all summer. Greens are in great condition except for a few patchy spots and rolled true but maybe a little slower than they could have. Played blue tees but father/uncle played the golds and daughter played from ladies. So good tee choices and thought the blues were challenging w/o being too difficult. Whites were 500 yards shorter so made the right choice. Course layout is really nice and and par 3's offer a good challenge on distance.

Definitely worth the short 15 minute drive from the beaches and paying the tolls. Much cheaper course than those on the peninsula and far more character. Played it right after Christmas and the conditions were great, would love to play here in the Spring. Rolling terrain is unusual for Florida. Pace of play was great. Played in a twosome with my daughter and we rarely had to wait. If in Destin looking for a place to play I highly recommend Rocky Bayou.

Course was in great shape, especially considering how late in the season we played it. Challenging layout but still fun for the high handicapper. Just a tad over a 4 hr round. For the money, I think it’s hard to find that kind of golf elsewhere on the bay side.

Loved Rocky Bayou! Beautiful rolling terrain, interesting holes and friendly, informative Pro. Challenging and well-manicured course. Greens were in perfect shape and very challenging with contours and speed.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Good warm up area, generous fairways to get to started and plenty of picturesque and challenging holes ahead. Will be back ASAP

A really fun course. Not too easy, not too hard. More hills than you find at most Florida courses. Not as much water as most Florida courses. Greens were perfect. Fairways and sand traps were very good. I played by myself on a Sunday morning and I was substantially alone. Played at a comfortably fast pace without delays. Perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I was surprised that its' location was only a short drive from the Bay Bridge.
