About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

All Alone At Poinciana
Yeah, it was hot (92 felt like 100).That's Southern Florida in the summer. We grabbed a Hot Deal at Poinciana. Just about had the course to ourselves. Got around in 2 1/2 hours and finished just before the rain started. Mission accomplished.
Super Fun Course
This is a very fun course that mixes challenging par 3's with par 5's and 4's that let you off the hook. Very friendly staff and a must visit for a quick 18 with friends.
Decent Track
The staff was great at the course. Course needed a little trimming but over all good place for the price. It was HOT playing around 10am.
Enjoyable round of Golf at Poinciana
Cooper the young man who checked us in provided excellent service he was polite an asset and ambassador for the facility. The greens were well kept nice condition.
Nice but too many par 3s
Understanding that this is a 64- and not a 72- par course, the course had too many par 3s for my liking, esp on the front nine. Some greens needed maintenance.
Great course
Very easy going I can ask for better than that I love it and the most part I’ve meet a very nice man by the name of Dave don’t know his last name it’s a veteran teach me a bunches of stuff I am very happy .
Short but challenging
Just short enough to get a good practice round but certainly packs a good degree of challenging holes. Really enjoyed the course but the staff was also a highlight. LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAY IT AGAIN
Fun time, great layout and greens.
Pleasantly surprised with how much fun this course is. Greens were in great shape , firm and fast. The rest of the golf course is decent and you can tell will be better in time. I will definitely be back as we had a bunch of fun with this great layout.
Don’t waste your time or money.
Played here a couple times during the season and the fairways/greens were great. I booked it again because I have family in town and I honestly wasted my time and money. The course is full of crabgrass and dead grass. Even the bunkers have weeds in them and the greens were like concrete so hard and not taken care of. I recommend you to not even waste your time or money because it’s like playing in a sandbox and one last thing, wear a back brace when riding in the golf cart so many bumps and holes on the fairway even the cart path.

I am visiting son at wpb and this course had available tee time. seems like a municipal type of golf course. good place to learn or work out kinks.
