About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Good for the money
Booked without knowing anything about this course because it was a convenient location and time. check in was super fast and easy, service was great. Starter was a bit "anxious " to keep the line moving as they were busy. my playing partner needed clubs and they actually provided at no cost. course was nice layout but definitely a work in progress but very playable. It's not a long course and there are many par 3's so a very good place to work on your short game. overall it was a great round and I'd definitely would go back.
Nice Little Layout
We met some new friends who had played this course before and they were a great help. Weather was perfect. Only lost two balls. Very enjoyable round.
Really fun course
If you have not played here in a few years, go back. They have really made some nice improvements. Greens are as nice as any course in the area. Staff is super friendly, bag drop guy was right there to help load and unload. I played this course regular 5 years ago but gave up after course conditions got unplayable. New management has made a ton of changes, all for the better. Got a great price on hot deal golf now. Pace was 3 hours and 15 minutes. It is only par 64 but has three par 5 one over 500 yards so it is not easy . Anyway really fun course, great layout, congrats on bringing it back to life.
OK executive course
Good course for beginners or people that do not play too often. The course was in good shape with most green being very nice.
Coming around
Greens were very nice and fast. They are on the smaller side so don’t expect to go out and shoot lights out without effort. There are areas to score but this helps to really tune I up the short game. I can see this really being a gem in a years time.
Great course for a good price
This is a great course located in the vicinity of Palm Beach. Course fees cant be beat and the greens are fast. Today was our first trip here and we will be back.
