About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Great course!
Very nice course to play. The course is being worked on and has been improved tremendously in recent months.
Renovating
This course is in the process of being renovated. Hole 13 is closed. 3-4 tee boxes are temporary
Fairways and greens are in decent shape.
Course employees are awesome
Terrible, hole 12 and 18 under construction
Terrible time on the course. We had to compete with sprinklers through the whole course. Grounds not kept up or mowed. The grass was so high we were losing balls left,right, and down the middle.
Great time
First time at the course and it’s a great layout. Greens are in great shape and they are in the process of rebuilding some of the tee boxes which will really make the course terrific when completed. I will definitely be back.

All Alone At Poinciana
Yeah, it was hot (92 felt like 100).That's Southern Florida in the summer. We grabbed a Hot Deal at Poinciana. Just about had the course to ourselves. Got around in 2 1/2 hours and finished just before the rain started. Mission accomplished.
Super Fun Course
This is a very fun course that mixes challenging par 3's with par 5's and 4's that let you off the hook. Very friendly staff and a must visit for a quick 18 with friends.
Decent Track
The staff was great at the course. Course needed a little trimming but over all good place for the price. It was HOT playing around 10am.
Enjoyable round of Golf at Poinciana
Cooper the young man who checked us in provided excellent service he was polite an asset and ambassador for the facility. The greens were well kept nice condition.
Nice but too many par 3s
Understanding that this is a 64- and not a 72- par course, the course had too many par 3s for my liking, esp on the front nine. Some greens needed maintenance.
