About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Terrible tee boxes and fairways
Greens were decent but the tee boxes and fairways were atrocious. Weeds and bare spots everywhere. I understand the course is under new management so I hope conditions will improve. I’ll check back next year.
Course is under new management...It will be a great course if they put money into the maintenance of the course..Greens are not bad...Fairways are cow patches...Layout is great... Beautiful trees..Great course for women..
Challenging Par 64 course
Played last week as our first course in/around West Palm Beach. Good start. New greens which are hard and fast. Not an easy par 64 at all. A good challenge and just what we needed. Still some work to be done on getting the course back to optimal condition but good on the management for the investments made thus far. Friendly and courteous set up :)
Nice Executive course
I wanted to play a practice round on an easy low priced executive course and Poinciana filled the bill. I haven’t played golf for four months of cold winter in Colorado so it was nice to get my rusty swing back on Poinciana golf course.
Great Place
Paul in the Pro shop and the starter Chris were super. Played in 3hrs 15 mins. Greens were much better than expected. Will definitely be back. Excellent value.

Poinciana golf course cleans up nicely
I played this course years ago and it wasn’t in such great shape as it is now staff is very friendly. Staff came to my car to take my clubs. Facilities are clean and course conditions are good.
Good value
First time we’ve played here. Booed with golf now app, it was a hot deal, $32 per player w/ cart for 18. Lots of sand, lots of water. The staff is helpful and friendly. They paired us up with a lovely couple from Kentucky and had a very enjoyable 18 holes. We had no one behind us and it was a perfect day to get our golf on! We’re from Montana and haven’t golfed since last October. The course was not in the best shape, but we also understand that this is coming off of their busy season
Ease Back Into the Game
First round since October. A nice Executive course to start swinging again. Staff was super friendly and informative. Mid-day play was quick. Never waited on a Tee Box and never had anyone behind us although the course was busy. Well managed. Fast Greens. Fairways a little rough.
Great Challenging fun course, you must play there, you'll love the course.
