About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Short, nice, but needs work
Many par 3s on this short course. Fairways need work as do tee boxes. Surprisingly traps are in great condition.
Fun short course
Really fun shorter course with a lot of par 3s and a nice mix of par 4s and maybe a par 5. For the price it’s a fun time
Very Fun Round!
This course was low on stress and high on enjoyment!
Kenny, the starter/manager was very attentive and ensured a good time was had. The course was a nice mix of hole distances, greens were consistent.

3.5 hrs to play a exec. course
that is south Florida in the winter ,every course is booked full
Slow play the front 9. We had a problem playing 10 , 11 they were poorly marked

I have played here several times and it is cheaper than most other courses at this time with the snow birds in town. The greens are in good shape and the fairways are ok. Just the tee boxes need more work.
Great course and staff
Played there a handful of times and everytime the staff is constantly helpful and friendly. Course conditions are constantly improving and you can get 18 in quickly. Will definitely be back!
Great Time
Was an all around great time. First time here and will be back. Price was right and greens were great.
Was told my previous review misrepresented course conditions so I have included photos from the day. This is by no means meant to be slanderous, the staff were all lovely people. What’s shown online is just not accurate to the reality of the course in terms of ratings or pictures.
Great for beginners. Probably better when not the height of season. Course totally backed up on every hole
The staff are awesome so friendly. On site restaurant is good. Carts are old gas powered. Greens are nice but fairways are rough.we waited a long time on every hole so not that enjoyable and lots of true beginners. We will give it another shot after season ends. It was a nice mix of all ages out there.

Fun Track with Great greens! Fast, small and true. Overall a lot of fun, well worth a visit.
Awful
Worst course I have played since moving to Florida. Tee box: ripped apart, fairways: mostly weeds, no fringe around the greens, greens are just dirt. Not worth $15, nevermind $50
First round in Florida
I was looking for a reasonable priced round to try and dial in distances and thought a course with many par threes and three par 5’s and par 4’s would work. The staff was very friendly. The bunkers were bad except on the 18th. Greens were smooth.

We apologize if we did something to upset you and you didn't like the golf course, but misrepresenting the conditions especially the greens is wrong. We are told consistently that the greens are excellent. Good luck playing elsewhere and finding any better in season greens for a price even close to what we offer.
