About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Beautiful course
Great course, smooth and fast greens, fairways nicely manicured, I will be back soon.
Fun round
Another enjoyable round at Poiciana. Friendly staff, we were able to tee off early because it wasn't busy.
Greens are in wonderful shape, some of the best around. Course is short, but numerous bunkers and trees provide a challenge.
They just received an order of new golf carts, goes to show that they are working hard to improve the overall experience.

Course is getting better,, the only thing is the pace,, you will spend alot of your time waiting. At times as you are waiting so will the players behind you also. Gets backed up all the time. Only played back nine once since coming here
Needs more work but has great potential. Worth the money
Very nice golf
The greens were impeccable and just loved layout and friendliness of staff!! Will definitely come back! Lots of wild birds, turtles and other creatures to see also!!
Getting Better- Worth Another Look
This course was in poor shape but has recently had a makeover
GREENS ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE
Some tee boxes are either temporary, in need of repair, or sub par shape
Overall conditions are excellent
STARTERS and PRO SHOP Personnel are friendly and helpful
Course is short. First timers may have trouble navigating some holes..
BE CAREFUL ON par 4 10th hole SHARP DOG-LEG right green is easily confused with 11th green KEEP TO THE RIGHT!!!
Not the best
Pros: friendly staff and the greens were firm/uniform
Cons: fairways mostly weeds, sand traps are in horrible shape, course design has you playing into on coming golfers and it is really a par 3 course with a couple of longer holes.
Florida trip
Lots of par 3s. Not a regulation course. Par is 62. Not as pretty s most courses in Florida. It was cheap and fun. Staff was great!!!

Greens were fast, but true.. like them the best as far as the overall course..
Greens are fairly fast but the fairways and tee boxes need work
With a little work the course could be pretty decent. The fairways have a mix of grass & weeds which makes it hard to hit from. The greens are the best asset of the course as they are in good shape.
Friendly course Nice layout and Greens
It’s not par 72 has a combination of many par threes par fours and par fives excellent pace of play terrific staff good course for mid to high handicap golfers
