About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

finally done right
What a difference, greens are in the Best shape they have ever been, on par with PGA greens, fairways coming along about 75% better, huge improvement overall, well done !
Surprisingly Good
New owners have made a great comeback
The greens were excellent the course conditions need work but at least they’re trying

Amazing Value
We all know that there are a bunch of courses to chose from, in the WPB area.
Poinciana is definitely one of the best values in the group.
The course is in good shape, these day, but it can use some improvement in bunker maintenance.
No easy but not overly challenging either, it has a good balance. Good place to hit with the spouse or with a group of buddies looking for a stress free golf experience

saturday my and wifes and 2 other players asked to go away Manager says golfnow is not send to her.This morning same story go away. Me and my wife and one young man, all we decited we never go that course so long the same manager is there.
Greens are amazing
The greens roll straight or turn when they should. While not fast, they are easy to adjust to and provide consistent putting throughout the 18 holes.

Greens are in Awesome Shape...Pin placement on some holes Challenging. Isabella has really done an outstanding job taking a cow pasture into A Great Course.
Best Greens in South Florida
Seriously, the greens are better than Jacaranda West, roll straight, and make playing here so much fun. A super course for working on your short game with some short par 5s in play.
Great Value; Nice Greens
If you are a 15-25 handi-cap you must play this course! Super greens to practice your short game and the new owners are amazing! The course layout is pretty easy, but the greens are well enough protected to challenge even a good golfer. If you focus on tee to green you will really enjoy this course!
Ridiculous experience
We went to play this course early this morning and were denied access even though we had already paid through golf now . They were hostile and vulgar. Nobody at the course had any idea why they were treating us this way . Police got involved because of their hostility towards us and sided with us. The police even went as far as to advise the owner to seek another career. I would suggest you never play this course and advise your friends to avoid it as well. There are so many courses in south Florida there is no reason to support this type of establishment.
Ridiculous Experience
After arriving to our tee time on time and paid for, we were denied access to the course saying there was no room. Cops eventually showed up and noticed no one had teed off in 30 minutes. They simply denied us the service we paid for.
great for short game
Can see owners are trying hard to bring this course back, was in pretty good shape as of date we played, Hope they keep up the progress. They need to work on traps, more sand would be big improvement. Played it in March of 2018 and course was pretty beat up. Much better than then. great place to bring newbie golfer, or for intermediate to work on short game, worth the price they charge, Greens are pretty guarded by bunkers. So approach shots are tricky.
Fun course
This is a nice short course but you have to place some of your shots to avoid water hazards and traps. Good value for what we paid. Would definitely play there again.
Needs Help
I have played here 4 x, and this Course is Going Down in the FIRE FAST...Needs Water, 12 of 18 Greens in Awful Shape, and NOT a SPOT of GREEN FAIRWAYS on the ENTIRE Course...Needs Investment to TURN it around...My First 2x playing, Great Shape, February...3 weeks Later, a Dirt Playground...
Good value
This coarse was a good deal for the price compared to other courses in this area and was in pretty good shape although there is a drought in this area
