About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Very nice greens!
Very impressed by the greens, very true! The rest of the course is coming along, there is obviously work being done to improve the overall condition.
A fun experience, good place for a nice quick round.
Hybrid executive course
Didn’t realize as I booked the round that it is a very short course. Still fun to play and practice the short game

I have played this course for years past and was really disappointed with its condition. I replay it when I learn that there are now new operators. What a huge surprise I had to see the changes initiated by the new management. Gentlemen, I take my hat off to you. I play golf regularly and rate your greens exceptional and fast. I see the work you do, it's obvious. Nothing is perfect, the fairways are to be worked on as well as some tee boxes. Can't wait to go back and see the changes you make. I'm sure we'll be talking a lot about Poinciana soon!
Fun course. Nice greens!
Played here right after a round at Okaheelee and although this course can’t match what Okaheelee offers, Poinciana is still a fun course.
Great affordable short course
Poinciana is a great affordable short course for the average golfer. Not very challenging and a few par 5s thrown into the mix of the many 3s and 4s. The greens are recently redone and are fantastic the tee boxes need some attention but they are actively renovating the course it seems. Will play there again!
Pleasantly Surprised!
Some of the best greens I have played in months. First time I have played this course and the layout and the greens are surprisingly excellent especially for the price. Tees and fairways have a way to go and are thin in spots but you can see they are working hard to improve the whole facility. I will absolutely be back to play again.
Nice Day
This course exceeded expectations. Much more than a simple par 3 executive course. Pleasantly surprised to see there were 3 par 5's in the mix. Greens were very nice, fairway and tee boxes could use some help...but Paul (in the pro shop) assured that will change. Overall enjoyable round, good pace of play, a very nice layout and well worth the money.

Staff always friendly… The greens were extremely well manicured! Great place for a quick un-rushed round!! Love what they have done to this course.
Great place
Nice course for all levels. Greens were recently redone and were in great shape. I was told they were going to start on fairways and tee boxes. I didnt find either of those to be severely lacking to a point of not wanting to play. For the price I would go again.
