About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

We are back again
We are back again!
In these days of high golf rates and soaring inflation, Poinciana is a real bargain.
Improvements are evident all over, if they keep investing in the property it will really be a top shelf draw.
Our round stated with a friendly staff.
Parking is easy
You will need to finesse your play to deal with the carefully placed water hazards.
Pace of play was great
Highly Recommend
Greens are fast and smooth
Corse was in good shape and staff were very accommodating
Not crazy about it
I’m not a great golfer, but this course is probably the worst coarse I have been on. The grounds were horrible. But, the guys I was with enjoyed playing here. Although it was horrible, we will probably be back. It was a cheap 9 holes.
Worth it
For the price this is as good as it gets. Fairways are the only issue but you can see the working improvements they have started. Greens are in good condition.

The course is getting in good shape ,the greens are very good, the staff excellent will play again
Fun little course
The course is a short course with 3 par 5's and 4 par 4's. It is recovering after some neglect. The greens are firm and true with less break than anticipated. Altogether it was a fun afternoon although the pace was slower than I like. It could be played in 3 hours easily.
This course was solid for the cost
Being a shorter course I wasn’t expect a whole lot, overall it was a solid course. The only thing that stunk for me personally was I forgot my glove (my fault) and they had no mens in large or xl in stock.
Started before the assigned tee time due to efficiencies. Pace was good, and conditions were great.
Its okay
Fairways are in very bad condition and greens are very small and fast
Amazing Stuff Going on
I have played here as a guest of a local resident, in the past. Then it was (and still is) a great BARGAIN, but in those days the conditions were not ideal.
These days things have really IMPROVED.
My understanding is t course is now run by a long time "golf Family" and they have brought it to a whole new level. I am really glad to see the course getting the "love: it deserves.
Not a difficult layout.
I look forwards to playing here again.

Great Greens
Bunkers and Fairways need a lot of loving care. Greens are hard, fast and fun.
Looking for a place for a friendly round
This course is not for the serious low handicappers.
If you want a casual round with friends it’s a course that moves fast , plays only 4500 yards and is pure target golf .
Tee boxes and greens are in decent shape but there’s some burn on the fairway and the rough is sparse in areas .
Really nice staff and a reasonably priced bar restaurant on premises .
